I went to school with one of those kids and they were super nice. I hope they found peace in their lives, I wish them well.

Man who reported to cps should have also called 911. Sad that cps did not react for three years. Lesson to keep driving by, follow up, that cps does not care.

Child abuse is a crime that does not get the punishment they deserve this few years sentence with suspended time all that child abuse mental and physical should be at least 15 years minimum and every minute of served Make these people take some parenting classes something child neglect is a terrible crime that will ruin a kids life not only a short term effects they grow end up treating their kids like that and the cycle continue

Should be messured by the age of the child. Let's say it's 5yo and expected to live 80. So basis of 75 years of damaged life... they should punish at least half of that... 37 to 40 years. Minimum.

Lisa Steinberg's killer didn't get a life sentence for her murder. She was killed by her adopted father Joel and he's out and still showing no remorse for what he had done.
Sorry that happened but glad thier ok now, now the only way we gonna keep kids safe is to get rid of those no good CPS workers who put them in these situations

If you want to do something for children everywhere that are being hurt.... Contact your local representatives, get petition going, makes some noise anyway you can to bring awareness... Our children are not as protected by laws as you might think they are... Actually the Perps are far too protected!! If you can imagine it chances are there is a child going through it somewhere!! 🤬🤬🤬

@@bobbazoid9969 Exactly! We don't know, it's what we do know that matters! Some law makers are trying to get Consent Age lowered w/a margin of 10yrs! It's probably safe to assume there are some sickos up there! Doing something to try to help children is better than doing nothing at all!!

This world is upside down the experience of most is different from my personal experiences when it comes to law enforcement. It's frustrating to say the least.

Out of all the tragic, disgusting, horrific things an average cop sees over the course of their career, it must have been really bad for the cop to be in tears over this incident.
So sad. This is happening everyday to children in our country.

This is just despicable these two monsters need to be kept in prison and this is why CPS needs to do their job seriously people need to be vetted seriously strongly before becoming foster parents and adoptive parents this is just one of the dark stories there are so many more I wish these children nothing but peace and happiness!

That’s just awful! God will never be able to forgive somebody who does this. Children deserve to be loved and this man standed up for what he knew was wrong and twisted! He did amazing job telling the judge about this. He deserves to be listened to. And God bless this man and who tries to help! I hope he’s healed from God. ❤️🙏

Yes, there are many many cops that are caring brave souls. Has Dr.Phil ALSO done shows about THE cops who ARE the evil? Who go for the badge for the power? Spouse batteries, racists, killers, child abusers? Would be a good show.

My story is similar and I have yet to find anyone who would listen to my story... Those kids are like me, we are similar to The Child Called It. Its pretty scary how similar our stories are. We were saved at ages 4 5 and 6 because we were alone for days after our physically and sexually abusive bio parents left us. Someone called dss after seeing my sister looking out the window. Then we were placed with our bio mothers aunt who raised and abused her. By the age of 7 I had to attend to our very own apartment (she own 3 family home and didn't want us in her apartment so moved us to the above apartment and she would watch us like a hawk. We weren't allowed to even use the toilet or shower) at age 12 my back looked like that of a slave who was beaten with a whip.

Why in the world did they only get 2 years? Should have gotten at least 2 years per child abused. Legal eagle should comment on this story.

And for the defendant to deny what was clearly proven to be true is despicable. The impact of the criminal offense are severe and can have lasting trauma for those children. However, the defendant showed no remorse for the damage inflicted results. According to the material facts, the admissible evidence, the elements of the governing laws as well as the circumstances, it is without question that the maximum glass slipper shoe punishment fits the prison cinderella perfectly to the satisfactory. I wonder if the prison inmates watch the Dr. Phil show…No disrespect.
