I'm certain I've seen this guys story ages ago, I remember him getting locked up with his dad . . . What a salt of the Earth gentleman. This was one of the best I've seen. Billy, you've got a natural skill for being able make people relax and share their stories. I want to thank you for your content, Billy lad . . these stories are hilarious, heartbreaking and heartwarming in equal measure. Brilliant. Billy, nice one. I know I'm talking about 2 year old information, but you're talking to me about a side of my hometown I never knew. I left Liverpool in 1979 when I was 17 and I've only just found these rehabilitation podcasts. I was blown away by your Steve French "Devil DeCoded" podcast, but this one is just stunning. It's unbelievable what John Burton is achieving. Thanks for showing the internet (the world) your side of life via the podcasts.

I've listened to loads of podcasts this past 8mth as im recovering from an injury, which is just getting worse. But this is by far the best ive listened to, this bloke is solid gold, very compelling and i wish him all the very best. A must listen to podcast, great bloke with a great heart. Ive watched a lot of these pods very very intresting its good to see folk turning around and i think you are a product of your enviroment I live in a small town in lancashire it is all drugs its all over Its all over the country

Smashing these bill, proper scousers all of them 👍🏼 I can relate to everything johns saying. I grew up exactly the same but I was born 81 so I was a 90’s kid around Scottie road and Vauxhall road.

Great interview Billy great what your doing giving these amazing people a platform about the great work there doing for the forgotten people the world wants to forget and ignore! Brilliant podcast could listen all day to two scousers chatting.Billy had so much to say probably only scratched the surface of what he did.would love to have heard more about the hooligan days and rave scene but still another excellent podcast and amazing to hear the turn around of Billy's life.

Brilliant podcast again Billy. Such interesting characters with interesting stories. You get on a level with all of the guests and you can tell they all respect you which makes the podcast so unique. Keep up the good work. Fast becoming the best on KZread 👍🏼

Listen to these 2 men. Absolutely brilliant pod cast, hopefully the youth of today will take note!!! Schools would be a great place to let the pupils watch this . If one out out of 10 take note. It will be worth while. Nothing but respect to the both of you. 👍keep it up

The most proper guest out of all the podcasts. How humble and articulate. And so blasè about banging the rotherham beast out. And the story about his family being locked up with him/because of him and how that goes down now is down to a tee. Some man!

I once saw a documentary about crime and gang culture. John burton was interviewed and he came across as being articulate and openly honest but not arrogant and trying to play the gangster. And as we see here, he seems a top bloke whos been there seen it and done it.
