@@clogue5117 harmful vocal posture shouldn't be a chosen style if you want to be able to sing for more than a couple months. Really not good for any short or long term use, it just hurts and can cause permanent damage with prolonged use. Also it doesn't sound nearly as nice as it could, and you can tell without the nerves she would sound even better and probably usually does.

She is such a great pianist. However the best pianists in my opinion are the jazz legends. May I recommend you listen to the likes of Bill Evan's or Tommy Flannagan. There are so many you will be blown away...

I think she has a beautiful voice. I love her shaky vibrato, it sounds sweet and vulnerable. I also like the way she transitions from her chest voice to her head voice. There’s a lot of raw talent in her singing voice. Not to mention her skill on the piano...

But most of the young stars of today don’t handle fame and all it brings, unless they have a great back up team who have their genuine well being at heart, so many enablers in the industry who have their own agendas, sadly! Sadly, this is true of all of these "talent" shows. Idol, Got Talent, X-factor, Voice -- they're all corruptions of talent. They force raw, native ability to conform to the modern pop music template - shrieking vocals with inordinate flourishes and blatant showing off. They should just merge them all and call it "How Loud Can You Sing?" Music, in general, would benefit if they all just disappeared.

She even said beforehand that she started singing about 2 years ago by accident and that she was scared to death of singing before, and she's obviously a busy girl, so she's aware that her singing voice needs improvement. This is a wonderful jazzy, upbeat song and it's just beautiful. I'm so glad that Emily is doing well and able to continue to realize her dreams. I'm looking forward to hear more of her music. I"d buy it in a heartbeat.

Wait, that's her??! 😱 I'm so amazed now! Obviously here again after I heard every song of the bridgerton musical... But never connected the dots, back to this little girl! 😅

“American Boy”- Estelle vibes! She’s extremely talented.

I love her voice, people are so quick to say on here that her talent is piano not singing but she does have a talent for singing. Her voice is so sweet and matches the style of her music. I wish she releases more music like this.

Go listen to her two songs on Spotify. ‘Dancin’ and ‘I’m not alone’ the songs need more attention !!!!!!

Give this girl a year or 2 with a vocal coach and a few more gigs under her belt and she will be sensational! Love her personality as well.

She seemed extremely nervous when I saw her playing on Ellen. That's usually the problem with people are composers and also try to play and sing live. You can hear it in her voice. Practice makes perfect and the more you play the more relaxed you'll be playing in front of people.

gaboogablah You call it a problem, but I do not. She is new to singing and I am excited for her to grow! She has great potential. I would never hold her back by saying her nervousness is a problem. It’d be a shame to. Beside that, her performance was nowhere near unpleasant. She was adorable and has a unique quality and tone.

She didn't look at all nervous to me. She looked as good as all the other times I saw her.

Wow, she can sing beautifully, but the way she plays the piano is extraordinary. I enjoyed her performance and plan to definitely follow her.

I'm so proud of this Angel since she was 4 y.o...God bless U always.💚👍😎 "Emily go..go..girl"🕊

yea this was more depressing to reflect on what i've been doing with my whole life

She has a beautifull voice. Would also be very nice for bossa, blues and maybe jazz. Love it.
