Former Green Beret Reacts to Home Invasion Video
Фильм және анимация
Mike Glover spent 18-years in the US Army and then spent time as a government contractor for OGA. He served as a SGM in Special Forces and deployed multiple times to combat theaters.
Watch as he reacts to the video and breaks down how each of them acts and shares what he might do differently based on his CQB experience in the situation at hand. He and Fieldcraft Survival Director of Media Austin Lester discuss the details of the home invasion video and how you can be more prepared for a situation like this if it happens in your own home.
Mike is the Founder and CEO of Fieldcraft Survival, a company he founded to help educate, train, and equip the everyday citizen for the worst-case scenario.

I got into an argument with one of my friends once who didn't talk to me for a month because I told her that I would absolutely shoot an intruder. She said "You would kill someone over stuff? You would take a life over things?" I said "No. But I would to save myself or family. That person has already thought about what they're going to do if someone is home. Also, I would 100% kill someone over MY things. This is my house. You break in it's war.
I remember a lady who owned a restaurant & had to deal with a similar situation a couple times. She grew up tough in Vietnam during the war & wasn’t afraid of anything. I taught my wife very similar tactic. Explained that when going after the bad guy in your house , you forfit a tactical advantage. Lock the bedroom door, take a concealed position with line of sight on the door. IF that door breaks open, then shoot when they enter . Nothing in the house is worth dying for. Things can be replaced. Breaking into a locked bedroom also establishes the bad guy's intent to do harm. Just my opinion

Atleast he had pants on "asuming" not like having a naked man with a gun cominng at you with a cigar hanging out of his mouth.
The first time I had a gun pointed at me was during my job as a pizza delivery boy at age 19. It was already at some apartments known for crime & it was a small stub nose 38 revolver under a bandanna. I gave him the money & also purposely some free large pizza coupons that were numbered & were on file. So even in that situation I was already doing the most I can to at least get this guy arrested. Sure enough his girlfriend used the stolen coupon we called the police and they got her and him in the parking waiting for their order which was like 3 days after he robbed me.

🔥🔥🔥GREAT STUFF... MORE OF THIS🔥🔥🔥 Love your channel. Always great content and and great information. Thanks for all the hard work. Keep it coming. Be safe always, Warrior! 🇺🇸💪🏼
Great video, thanks !
Living in a “Duty to Retreat” (even at home) state, I probably would be considered the aggressor and subsequently charged with something. That is a sickening thought…Great analysis!

Three armed 'thieves' not concealing their identity leads me to the conclusion...they weren't thieves. They knew a petite woman was inside the residence and had 'other things on their mind'.

Rule of thumb flying or shooting you must deal with the emergency first. Comms are dealt with after emergency is contained!👍😊🇺🇸

That's not what that is. Duty to retreat only applies when one can be completely safe in retreating. Attackers with guns would render that totally moot.

Intruder with white hoodie raised his pistol at her ... No more legal authority needed.
I want to see more of these from Mike
There was recently an armed citizen who responded after a bad guy shot a cop. He put the bad guy down, but was then killed by a responding officer who didn’t know he was the good guy. I haven’t seen any video of it, but I would bet there’s surveillance footage and/or badge cam and would like to see a breakdown of what happened.

There is video of it. Only the beginning though, where the shooter ambushes the cop and then flees the scene.

This happens A LOT, Look what happened in the mass shooting where the security guard kills the mass shooter but gets shot by a cop thinking he was the bad guy 😰

@@johnnylego807 the only case I could fine remotely close to what your saying is Jemel Roberson. A plain clothed security guard at a bar. When cops responded to shots fired he got fatally shot. What case are you talking about? I’m curious how a security guard would get shot in an active mass shooter case.
Love the format, waiting on the next episode.
I loved this video btw, I really enjoy your analytical views and description of tactics.
Hearing your walk-through in real time was incredibly insightful. Make more!
“I’m up at four sitting on a couch with a carbine.” Priceless! More of this please! Thank you for the education!
Great stuff Mike. Please make this a show regular.
Thank you for your service and what you are teaching. We need more good people who fight back against evil.
This type of this videos are awesome, especially that attending your courses is kinda difficult being half way across the world and all, in Kenya 🇰🇪. Please keep doing them.
Instantly one of my fav vids you guys have done. love hearing Mike's take on this kinda stuff.
Cool. Do more. Your experience and information is very informative and valued
Thanks for the video
I'm glad to see you doing this, should have done it a long time ago. With the wealth of knowledge, experience and skill that you and your team of instructors has, videos like this could very well save someone's life that hasn't had professional training. Please keep it up! And I also appreciate how humble you and your instructors are, that's getting harder and harder to find theses days.
I really appreciate what you do. I’m almost 60, never served this great country. Because of your Videos, I feel better prepared. Thank you!
This videos is Gold!! Lots of information, I’m watching them all Thank you 🙏🏽
Mike you legend! The entertaining nature of your expert analysis is GOLD! Bring on more brother Hooah!
Love these videos. Reviewing real world situation is good for general public (like me) to be able to wrap my head around the types of situations I have never experienced. Long time listen of the podcast, love what you do, please keep it up, can't get enough of it!

I am soooo feeling this. Your content is always A1
Love it, keep the reviews going
Hell yeah, do more like this. It's always good to hear from a true expert. See if y'all can find videos on small houses, trailers etc.
Love this! Learning preparedness and teaching my wife and family in the process. Some people have said I'm paranoid, but I'd rather be "paranoid" than regretful.

The people calling you paranoid aren't people that matter in your life. And they CERTAINLY won't matter in a life or death scenario. That's a common response from someone that has either never experienced true adversity, or never seen/been in a violent scenario. Or both. Much love and congratulations on taking your first steps and bringing your family into the fold. The community welcomes you!
love these videos keep it up, this can help others to learn
Love these break downs!!
The best teacher is experience, thank you for sharing your experience and training with us! :)
I feel I would benefit from self defense shooting breakdowns from y’all’s perspective. It would serve as a useful supplement to my other resources like ASP. Thanks boys!
