@@Alan-rw3ezThere doesn’t have to be a black list or conspiracy. The situation is as simple as this: 30 GMs don’t want the distraction of a media circus for bringing in a guy with a looooong reputation for being a clubhouse cancer. @@johndavies5582 If that is true he will make a billion dollars. He signed a contract with the Players Association. So now that he has been cleared the MLB cannot stand in the way of anything as they are contractually obligated to give someone who deserves to play at this level help in getting work at this point . If the MLB does not help this into reality soon they will face a lawsuit they cannot win. It is time to put it all behind and move forwards by all parties. The past must be the past or this gets even dumber and more divisive. Soon not having him here will be as offensive as it was 2 years ago to believe he was forever done. The truth is he is just to good which gives the MLB zero legal reason to continue the current path.. He proved the accusations false . That is that. there is nothing left to say on that matter whatsoever. So without that the players association must act even if they took it as far as they have they are running out of room to keep it going any more. Bauer can still pitch at a MLB level. I’ve been surprised at how many players I’ve recognized in the Mexican League. Voit, Cano, Aquino and Tejada to name a few. One of the biggest differences between the leagues is defense, which would favor Bauer coming back. Not sure if they use humidors like they do in MLB (which has nullified power in Colorado). I’d expect Bauer to better than average with an ERA between 3.00 to 3.50. The lack of extreme elevation would help his consistency with grips and command as well. He is a bargain for league minimum and an arm without an innings limit. The next best option for available arms is Fedde, who spent last year dominating in the KBO, winning their version of Cy Young and MVP. Bauer is a better talent. Fedde is a better teammate.

It’s crazy how much he has going against him in Mexico from a pitcher stand point. High elevation means extended ball flights, less spin on pitches, and he’s got a worse defense. Smoltz used to say pitching in the minors was more difficult because you couldn’t set those batters up for strikeouts since they swung at everything.

@@DikembeMutumbo I heard this topic discussed this morning on the Fan. They were never "dismissed", Bauer settled out of court. He paid them. And only one of the accusers turned out to be a "total scam", NOT all of them. Plus most teams believe that there are other victims out there and once he signs with a team, they will probably come out. And Bauer was never liked by his teammates in any of the teams he played for even without all this. He has always been an oddball.

@@CamKrazy2000 the one I saw literally googled how to extort him and another I think was just found guilty for something wild like felony embezzlement in another case. This is a textbook pile on the easily offended crowd does. Look at Russell Brand, that Supreme Court dude, Trump, etc. etc. All the other minor things that may make him not a great boyfriend or chooser of women don’t make him more or less guilty of the actual crime that’s punishable by law. Also lots of times rich people will settle just to make the court headache go away, doesn’t mean guilty at all.

@@DikembeMutumbo Who the F cares unless you're Bauer or his attorney? O's are just one of 30 teams and NONE of the other 29 team want him on their teams either. Right now O's are 3rd in starters ERA which means there are 27 teams that need Bauer more than O's, get it? Bauer is FINISHED as a big league player whether you like it or not, move on. And don't assume you know all the details. I'm sure all big league teams have a lot more information about Bauer's problems that we don't know about.

Accounts of Who? I've seen plenty of MLB players say he's a great guy, he seemed extremely popular with the Baystar players and the evidence is that the Diablos's all like him. If I had a young pitching class, his insight alone would be worth the paycheck, let alone his own pitching.

I'm no shrink, but it seems he has an organic type of mental disorder, perhaps autism. It's annoying at times. Lots of times. I hate when he's making wagerless bets and closing one eye while pitching. He should see the potential disaster that could arise from doing those things. I would like to see the manager tell him to knock it off and see how he reacts. Not sure if he is showing off or just making content for KZread. I have also seen him help other pitchers and he is a hit with the fans wherever he goes. Overall, he's good for baseball. He constantly thinks of ways to improve the game and has some interesting ideas. Who else is doing that? Because these Gen Zs and those behind them, seem to be less and less baseball fans. Trevor has their ear and the tech skills to draw them in. I can see where regular major leaguers won't like him. If a group of guys can't make the adjustment and accept him with his quirks, he won't last. Forcing him into the mold is impossible. He does care about team mates and the team. He's just stuck on himself at times. Finally, he's a monster on the mound. Absolutely destroying that league and they are a blast to watch. In the end, That's what it's about. He's good for the game. and that is good for all players.

One thing to note is that the training and conditioning techniques that were often the primary sources of his estrangement from his teammates in the MLB have become accepted practice in many bullpens. He isn't going to be the odd duck in regards to that, but i do think he needs some sort of sports psychologist to help him out with his more childish impulses. It's not uncommon for him to be cussing up a storm to himself about some technical aspect of his game in the midst of a quality start.

Flat out seems like you are just sour grapes man. The www. pops who are the very same who made this man guilty before looking beyond the accusations. To cavoite 19K in 7 innings in any professional baseball league is ridiculous. No one believes the Mexican League is as competitive as the MLB and still what Trevor Bauer is proving is that there is no way the MLB could ever argue he does not belong in the MLB as a talent now that he has dominated in 2 professional leagues and seems to be getting better as time is passing not worse. There is no argument anymore against Bauer playing in the Bigs again. None that truly matter to baseball anymore. Cleared means he did nothing we can judge the man for. Adults do adult things and that is their business and when someone intentionally use someone's fame to attempt to enrich themselves is the worst type of people. So using any of that anymore is the same as aiding and abetting fraud really . With him being cleared of all wrongdoing by the LAW there is no more room for speculative ramshackle we have heard over and over again for the entre Bauer debate began. Of course this happened in a Mexican League. However even in a sub league you can track his pitches and read the data and what he is doing there now and last year in Japan is as good as MLB diamond stuff in 2024. Trevor Bauer is so much better than Mexican Baseball he is putting up insane numbers. That only proves that he is to big for that league and belongs with the rest of the best in the world. If you dislike the man then that is your right. However instead of trying to stand in the way of Bauer playing again go boo him and cheer against him on the mound. It will be WAY more fun than this online debate and we will get to see some great pitches. We can all get along again ! LETS PLAY BALL! He still falls under the contract with the MLB players Association and you should know that Ripken . He has both cleared his name of any wrongdoing and proven he is still one of the best starting right handed pitchers in baseball through 2 leagues. It would cost the MLB a lot of money to not help him get work soon under these realities and under the Players Association bylaws themself. I know the anti Bauer voices simply do not want to admit they brought the pitch forks and torches out to soon and may never concede. They do not have to because the truth is those who have been the loudest against Bauer really have no real power to stop this from happening anymore. They had their many years of tantrums and unsubstantiated accusations they all had feelings over. That time has past. You lost get over it. If you dislike Bauer still by all means boo him when he plays against your team. Cheer for your guys to hit him and let it all play out in the GAMES . He is fun to watch pitch and right now baseball could use a injection of fun.
