Quick correction: Meat also has a launching D2. I'd forgotten that because Meat wouldn't really use the D2 as he has other launchers that are more practical in his gameplan! I can't escape meat anywhere I go, it seems.

Would you look at that... Khameleon makes her return in MK1 as a Kameo fighter.

I always thought MKA male Chameleon had one of the best designs in the entire franchise. The traditional ninja v-vest and the translucent skin was completely awesome.

He was literally the ultimate MK Ninja and feels like he’s supposed to be a story fusion character that is meant to fight a powerful evil force that threatens the realms.

I think something worth a mention. Chameleon's debut was supposed to be in UMK3 - home ports edition. You can access an unfinished Chameleon with a game genie or Pro Action Replay code on the SNES, Genesis ports of UMK3. It's a Scorpion sprite with no special moves.

I find it weird that in the genesis version of umk3 I played (I think it was a bootleg version since all the cheats where unlocked when the game booted) the male chameleon was in a black ninja suit and had masked sub zeros moves, but everyone else's gameplay of him in the genesis is in yellow with nothing

Would have been funny if, all these years later, they returned... but Khameleon was Switch Exclusive, just like her other two incarnations. She's a Nintendo fan through and through lmao

There were rumors in the past that stated Chameleon was considered to be DLC for the MK11 Kombat Pack 1, but they replaced him with Shang Tsung.

@@dudunikolaishvili8096 Yeah! Some tools would change quite significantly going into armageddon, plus some general gameplay differences would also make a big impact. I'll have to look into it again but some characters were excellent in DA/Deception but weak in MKA. It's one of the biggest things Im going to find out about going into my other MK Metas.

Scorpion was top 3 in every 3d mk game, bo rai cho was top 2 in MKDA and MKD, but mid in MKA, Drahmin was very good in MKDA and MKA

It honestly is. Their are so many channels that even if decent content and genuine it comes off as really forced and an act just for the clicks. This is just straight forward mk love and an insane amount of knowledge this channel puts into it's a content. Love it

Armageddon Chameleon is one of the most swagger characters I’ve ever seen

I hope Chameleon and Khameleon returns they have so much potential it's baffling neither Midway or Netherrealm Studios didn't expand on their characters both Chameleon and Khameleon being Saurians can help out Reptile story a lot more as they are the last of their race.

I hope K/Chameleon characters in newest timeline are they're twins that rival each others

The male and female C/Khameleon were totally wasted potential for MK11 and it's custom move pool setup. Instead their main gimmick was given to Shang Tsung, which was a very strange aspect in the long run.

Chameleon and Khameleon really should return they can flesh out Reptile story more about Saurians they should have been actual characters in Mortal Kombat Deception.

I always get surprised by the end length. If I make these kind of videos I want to try and leave no stone unturned. I thought this one would be faster than most but ended up being just as long because of all the Khameleon MKA research I had to do.

Armageddon is a great game

I like the touch of genuine reactions from Ryan in the past two videos, added some really nice comedy and levity amid the informative content

Absolutely love these videos. I will say though, I am excited for the day that we get a Competitive History on one of the MK main stays. That'll be a long story for sure lol.

Now I’m wondering if there’s a Relish out there that loves to play the cyber reptile from MK 9 challenge tower.

The biggest Forgotten Secret of these characters is how this character breakdown isnt part of the playlist on the channel. I saw it recommended, saw that i liked the video, but dont think i actually watched it when it first was uploaded. Thanks recommended for returning this to me lol.

If Chameleon were to come back, one thing I would want is to have Chameleon stick with the cyan vest, but every time he does a move, the headband changes color based on the move's owner. An additional recommendation would be to give Chameleon unique variations of the moves to call them their own.

I'd be fine with Khameleon being similar to Soul Eater Shang Tsung but for the missing Female Ninjas.

I really love the Armageddon designs of Chameleon and Khameleon. Hope the two come back playable someday. Honestly, I don't see why the former wasn't chosen instead of Shang Tsung in MK11 since he mimic moves from, you know. . . . . . .THE OTHER NINJAS! 😐

Glad you're giving Chameleon recognition, he's my favorite in spite of not appearing a bunch lol

I didn't like the air combat but watching this video reminded me how much I liked playing Armageddon.

The only reason I know of Chameleon is from a sprite animation "Akuma vs Chameleon".

I did enjoy seeing these two appearing in MK9, even though it was just in the background. Along with skarlet, it made it feel like they actually had a Canon role in the story, even if just a small part, but we just weren't able to play or experience it.

You guys are really great kontent kreators. Keep up the good work

I played armageddon for the first time yesterday and oh boy playing chameleon is a blast

I actually went back to the older games when i found out my main Chameleon was from them. I actually took the time to learn all the ninjas just to be able to be crazy with him. My friends even hated when i played him because they rarely got a win 😅

I need this character in MK11 so much. It would be great if NRS add Chameleon or even Khamelion. I would main them both.

NGL Ketchup, your videos on MK Trilogy and the unique characters from it got to buy the game on eBay, and I'm a more casual MK fan. Keep up the good work!

I imagine these characters could make a comeback in mk11, since they seem to like bringing back characters from the past (such as rain)

I think it's a missed opportunity that characters like K/Chameleon and Shujinko weren't even considered for MK11, what with their powers revolving around having a widely varied moveset based on other characters. To me, it's a no brainer and would have made for some cool variety. But, you know, "DUURRRRR! ITS UNBALANCED," cries the modern MK community/FGC. So no fun allowed.

As of 2023 its been confirmed that Mortal Kombat 1 will have the female Khameleon as a DLC Kameo fighter, just thought I'd mention it.
