MrMetalover666 I feel bad for them. Vince McMahon,Kevin "The Bucky Beaver Toothed Asshole" Dunn and the uncreative Saban,Disney,MGM,Warner Bros.,Universal,CBS,Nickelodeon and Hollywood retards basically reduced them to jobbers and fed them to their golden boys like that fucking bootleg Vanilla Ice who shall not be named.

Not just this era but the new era the pg era & even the Hogan era. Back then I was a fan of Hogan & warrior like most ppl cuz of their superman bigger than life gimmicks & personas but looking back neither had memorable matches with a few exceptions like both of their matches with macho man & a couple others here & there. They were other great talent like me perfect, Jake the snake, Bret, bulldog, bam bam, macho man, piper etc that were better then both of them imo. They weren't jobbers but never got pushed as well as they should've been. 4 all the hate cena gets & love Hogan got & probably still gets they're both mirror images of each other cena being a carbon copy of Hogan. The gimmicks r different Hogan being the wholesome all American cena the Dr of thuggonomics. But if u look at em cena is Hogan 4 the modern age. Hogan hulking up 4 example is like cena going in2 super cena mode. 5 knuckle shuffle is not a finisher but as a signature it's pretty similar 2 leg drop. Say your prayers eat your vitamins is akin 2 hustle loyalty & respect. Both had or at least did a very limited moveset. Both excelled at mic skills. Hogan ripped his shirt cena takes his armband off. Both buried other talent or wwe buried them 4 their character. Both were top merchandise sellers. Both r big & muscular. Both always overcame even the worst odds I can keep going but think I made my point.

I remember in GM mode from SvR 2006 I gave Doug Basham a WWE title shot on Raw against John Cena the week his contract ran out. He then proceeded to beat Cena in the main event of a Raw and I brought him back just so I could beat the shit out of him with Kurt Angle at SummerSlam

RedskinsCanefan21 I remember it. I gave Hidenreich the WWE title until he lost it to Doug Basham. I had Doug Basham tried to defend it against Edge and he lost. Doug Basham got pissed at me and what happened? I fired him off of his contract as I said "That's what you get for insulting me!" As I kicked his ass with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Absolutely love this series Brian. I started watching wrestling during the Invasion angle and the mention of some of these stars brings back so many memories of surfing wrestling boards and talking about stars like Mordecai or Sean O' Haire. I'm a long time fan of your channel and don't usually leave a comment but I thought I'd express my gratitude for these come and go stars of the past. I think you put out some of the most original content out there and I always enjoy your discussions of the ruthless aggression era. Great work Zane, keep it up!

I wouldn't say "savage" he was straight up burying a fellow worker in a wrong way, everyone can do that but not everyone is allowed, HBK knows he can get away being a c*nt cause he's a legend but a lesser wrestler would've rightfully caught massive heat for that.

My only memorable moment of The Basham Brothers was from a WWE video game. When I was playing GM mode, I simulated a match between Danny Basham and John Cena to build up a rivalry between John Cena and JBL. I watched the match to spark some interest with GM mode. What made this memorable was that Danny Basham actually beat John Cena in the simulated match fair and square. No interference or weapons were ever present. I literally was shocked and went to my friend..."WOW, imagine if Danny Basham actually beat John Cena on WWE Raw."

With the Brand Extension back, I decided to have a little trivia fun and try to list every male WWE Superstar who appeared on either Raw or SmackDown more than once, or at least once in a pay-per-view match, between 2002 and now - excluding Heat and Velocity, and also ECW unless they were there in the late fall of 2007 or afterward, when ECW effectively merged with SD and they began appearing on each others' shows. (Legends made it on if they appeared more than once, so the likes of Hulk Hogan, Sergeant Slaughter and Doink the Clown are on my list.) I assigned each Superstar to either Raw or SmackDown depending on which brand I felt more defined their career; if they appeared ONLY in 2014 or 2015, I assigned them to Raw by default. My findings were interesting: 256 Superstars, with an equal number (128 each) of Team Red and Team Blue! Bobby Roode is the most recent addition as of this week, and the Singh Brothers will make the list once they start wrestling regularly and out of street clothes.
