Dont have this phone model, just some Samsung galaxy. Phone screen was completely black, only power off and reset showed, but pressing them did nothing. This worked, thank you so much 💗

You explained this simply and clearly. Got it on the first try and it was easy. Couldn't get past my 2 step verification to factory reset my phone because I no longer had the same number and it wouldn't give me any other way to do it. This made it possible for me to sell it. Thank you so much!

Took me about 3 out 4 tries but thank you....I think it worked it's just taken forever to come back on right now I'm just stuck on the Samsung screen... idk why it's just stuck on this screen. But I hope it reset it once it pops back up😮

Thank you! The counting to 10 isn't always the case. It's more like press the reser buttons (which ever they're ment to reset your phone model) as soon as the screen goes black. It worked on on galaxy s6. Thank you so much!!!!

You should inform folks that once they follow your instructions they will need to know their password for their Google account that they've got on this device. Cuz most folk just saves all their passwords automatically in some format on their device and never think twice bout it. Then whatever means they use to save it will auto fill anytime they need it. Never remembering it by heart. So if they follow these directions, they should be informed that they will need that password once reset. Js.

It took like 5 times cause my dad bumpede twice and my fingers slipped. You are a life saver thank you soooooo much.

Thank god I found this video. if I didn't, i'd never unlock my Galaxy S22 Ultra. It's basically brand new and I immediately forgot the pin.

So, our house help's phone wasn't unlocking and she clearly remembered the passcode.. I did the initial holding and once I see the logo I let all the buttons go then wait for it to restart and key in the passcode, it starts working but the factory reset doesn't happen which is great in this case..

got it first time. guy your new hero.

What I want to know is... what do you do if you reset to factory settings, the phone starts up just like in the video, looks like *new*... and then asks for the pattern passcode from the last verified user. These phones are getting really good... I can't believe it still remembers the pattern after a complete reset.

I dont have the option to choose language it did factory reset but its still showing the pattern which I do not remember what it was it says choose a wifi network I touched on mine it said getting phone ready then checking info then it says your phone was factory reset draw pattern? Omg thank you. I put my phone in my pocket the other day and when I went to unlock it later, the same pin I've had on all my phones for 4 years would not work. It has been insanely frustrating and I was pretty well resigned to giving up. Glad I tried looking up the issue again. Also it only took one try 😁

this happened to me but you will need to put your finger on the volume up button the second it turns black, then when the Samsung logo comes up, keep your finger on the volume up button and remove the finger from the power button. Then you will get the same setting

So annoying, for some reason both my phone (just bought the s21 ultra, yesterday) pattern stopped working. I use the same pattern. Luckily, I had nothing on the ultra…but my old phone has lots of pictures. I don’t want to reset my old phone. Is the issue with the updates? I had to update my phone twice since buying it only yesterday.
