I really love this, especially coming from someone as awesome as Beau Bokan from Blessthefall, a band I’ve listened to for almost 7 years now. My parents left me when I was 10 years old, and I was a very angry dark teenager for a very long time. Age definitely changes prospective of things or just big life changes. For example, I am now married and am pregnant with my first child, even though I have yet to speak to both of my parents for 12 years now, times have changed a lot for me and there’s always that creaked opened door now for an opportunity to put things behind us and become better human beings. I can say for certain when I was a teenager I told myself I would “never” want them in my life again, and I still think of all the what if’s from time to time. But again, it now feels like I am in a better place mentally, there’s always an opportunity to redeem yourself in your mistakes. It’s just crazy how your mind changes drastically overtime. Much love and respect to you Beau and everybody else! I too, am learning everyday to forgive others that have wronged me greatly.
We gotta forgive others like Christ forgave us. We didn’t deserve his grace,mercy,love but he died for us anyway. He came to restore relationship with the Heavenly Father
I’m a prideful person too. Forgiveness is not a choice. It is a must. 😌
