How were you able to tell what kind of material the saw blade was made from?

Nice work! How did you put the layers all together to make your billet? And also, could you tell me what the big saw blades are from? Thanks man

The billet is a typical forge weld, the saw blades came from a sawmill. Thanks for watching!

Why were you dipping the hammer in water when hammering out the bevels?

Did anyone else hear the infamous “TING” sound @5:11. That means stress fractures.

Beautiful Knife, you have that blade crazy sharp! Why were you dipping your hammer into the water? Stay safe my friend. I have a question for you. Would you be willing to make a sheath for me? I have a knife but don't like the sheath. Not sure if you would be interested in that or not. if you are I could send the knife to you or we could talk on the phone about it. just let me know. Enjoy your weekend!

good work, but the blade should be practically straight. and this knife cannot be used to cut the katsuramuki technique. you need to fix the knife geometry and re-sharpen. gl.
