Forging a Feather Hook from Christ Centred Ironworks!

Warning! In today's video I am promoting some products sent to me by Christ Centred Ironworks, if that's not something you are interested in then please don't watch however I think I do make a pretty cool hook and there is obviously no obligation that you buy anything!
Roy Adams (of Christ Centred Ironworks) got in contact with me asking if I'd like to promote some of his laser cut blanks that he sells on his website. I think that these are a great little project for beginner blacksmiths who don't have much time on their hands to get some hours of forging in each week; or for people who don't have the equipment to quickly cut out blanks such as those he sells.
If you'd like to buy some blanks and try them out for yourself there are a large variety for sale on his website ( Http://www.blacksmithingblanks.com ) such as feathers, geeks, dragonflies, flowers etc. If you use the discount code 'OSCAR' then you'll get 10% off and I'll get a small amount of what you spent.
The discount code also works for the Guillotine tool kit and the Treadle hammer kit.

I have a question if you're going to hang it on the wall won't the curve of the feather on the back getting in the way of that

The flat of the hook will sit flush and then there’s another point towards the top that will also be in contact with the wall if that makes sense!
