I like the fact you did all this with rudimentary tools, it makes the idea accessible for those of us on a budget. Lot of videos are like "YEAH JUST FIRE UP YOUR POWER HAMMER" and then leaves the average user to figure it out from there. Great video!

I've been scrolling through various KZread videos on feather hooks, because I'm frustrated with how many heats and how much time it takes to chisel in the lines. Thanks to you, I will now sharpen a little peen hammer I bought for no good reason, and put the lines in all my future feather hooks with it. Thanks again for all the great ideas!

Very welcome, I've been considering doing some remakes of old videos.. New and improved if you will. I have some new ideas and adaptations of ways of doing some things might be interesting to followers.

@@wrotiron I am all in favor of that! Some of my best work and ideas come from stewing about better ways to do things. I fall asleep every night thinking of better ways to blacksmith stuff I've been making over and over but wanting more efficient ways to get the same or better results.

Great video !! I'm just setting up a shop with an antique forge and anvil so I'm looking for projects to begin with. I found your channel and admire your way of explaining things and craftsmanship. Thanks.

Don't apologize for leaving pats of of the process in the videos man. To much editing and shortening I feel like... takes away from the work that actually goes into the piece. Idk. Just my opinion. Me personally I'd rather watch it literally from beginning to end. Heats and all. I follow ya on Tic Tok and you're a big inspiration for me. You do a lot of the same kind of work I'm interested in. I'm just starting out with smithing and love these smaller projects. Please keep up the awesome work!!
