In this knife making video we're tackling a complicated and beautiful damascus Japanese sushi knife. The knife is made from a beautiful high layer raindrop damascus that we make from scratch in the video. This is not a traditional or historically accurate build, it's simply my modern take on the piece. Enjoy the process and thank you for watching!

I commend you for two reasons, 1. The amazing work you do on these blades, 2. The fact that you can do all this in silence (minus the work noises of course)

I much prefer the silence and the sound of my work in my shop. It's like a getaway from the entire world, including music (which can be annoying to me) and everything else. The most peaceful time in my life is in the workshop.

Challenge for you. Create a sword (type/style/design of your choosing) But it must be a sword. Here is where the challenge comes in. - 1: It must be made from sourced raw ores. 2: It must be practical and fully functional. 3: It must be a representation of ANY sword type that has been used in history.
