That is *exceedingly* rare on both the left and the right nowadays. Everyone has a “team”, that team is never wrong, the other side is evil and must be destroyed. Russell is the antidote to all of that…one of the very few who will actually stand up and say “our side is fucking crazy, too”.

His step brother Bill Hader is AWESOME in this sequence, screaming at him through the telephone, telling him to go BACK to his room! Its like, dude, I am your step brother, I love you, and I know this is killing you. Listen to me right now, go BACK to your room!

Oh my god... In the theater, I laughed so hard and so long at "Not an evil version... ". I don't know why it hit me so hard, but I couldn't stop laughing. The people around me thought it was hilarious, but I literally had to walk out for a minute and compose myself rather than interrupt the whole movie. I did the same thing later when Aldous was leaving back to England after the break up and while saying he didn't know how Peter could spend 5 years with her, he says "it was like being on Holiday with, Not Hitler, i don't wanna say Hitler, but certainly Goebbels...". Fuck.... his delivery is just so good.
