What right does she have to be all jealous about Peter finding someone else? I mean isn’t that the whole point, moving on and leaving the past behind. She left him, so what did she expect, that he’d wallow in sadness forever, God be praised that I never dated that kinda woman. Sadly though I was foolish to go back into a relationship like the one Peter had with Sarah, I fell for that famous quote Sarah and other women like her say the “What if I made a mistake” and “I missed you”. If I were Peter I would leave in a heartbeat the second she started touching me, sadly I was young and stupid so I fell for it. And say Peter went back to her what then? Will she just dump him again in the next five years or less when she finds someone else who is supposedly better?

such a funny movie. When it first came out I was in high school and I remember everyone was talking about all the sex in it. Watching it as an adult I was so impressed by the subtleties of the acting and script to deliver something that I find such a powerful commentary on specific relationship dynamics that happen very often. This scene specifically is coming on the heels of Sarah realizing Aldous is actually a shallow douchebag and starting to pine for what she used to have with Peter. Peter is not interested in getting back together with her anymore but because he has finally let go he becomes more attractive to her again..

According to the DVD commentary, they came up with the "cell phone that kills" you movie idea because it was the dumbest idea they could think of for a horror movie. Kristen Bell had actually BEEN in a movie with that plot (Pulse) and at first thought they were deliberately making fun of her.
