Young Jazz Ensemble - Grade 3
With a sound similar to the pop hits of the 1960s, this upbeat tune was recording by Cee Lo Green and also performed on the TV show Glee by Gwyneth Paltrow. Paul's effective chart for young players features a tenor soloist in the beginning, then joined by the entire sax section. The brass get their chance, and a modulation kicks things into high gear to finish up.

I can't explain why but I feel such happiness and enjoyment when listening to this song. I love this so much. Eighth grade band played this for some elementary schools in our county and I got to go with them along with some friends too. It was so much fun.

GetShrektNoob MuchShrektVeryWow If your a professional it shouldn't. this song is very easy, ivr never had the solo because I'm a Bari Sax player remember the rythem and it should help, trust me. I used to do very fast pace jazz, knowing the rythem always helps

Matthew Candelario Well like it says im only in highschool (a freshman actually) so im not a professional by any means. Also i wasnt used to doing solos so i was a little nervous but we've already performed this song multiple times and i did good. We're done with jazz pieces for the year but thanks for the tip.
