I am owner of two Hydronaut’s they are great. All your points in your video are 100 percent correct. The case thickness being so thin is probably the best part of this watch. Also the easy service ETA cannot be over looked. Great video I really enjoyed it.

What a perfect video , yesterday I received my Tudor Hydronaut 89190 from Japan, blue dial for $1800. Tariff was $66 bucks. This thing is like new, it has a date and a cyclops, triple lock rolex crown. all of these fake sub Black bays have no date and no cyclops, boring. I just had my date day Tudor 36mm serviced, the people in the AD were loving this watch. you are right the new Tudors have lost their way, they change the color of the bezel and that's a big deal,I call B.S. even my 36mm Tudor Submariner 75190 is better than anything they have at the A.D in the new line. forget the 2024 catalog, go back in the past before the black bay ,Tudors were Rolex quality at a more affordable price, the essence of Tudor.

Early 2000 models is where to go. I have a TAG Heuer Chronograph from that era that surpasses the build quality of almost all of my watches that were made recently.

Never seen this before. This watch instantly makes me feel how the P01 did when I first saw it. Very cool. Bought the P01. Probably will have to seek out one of these now too. Ugh. But also. Hell yeah.

Very nice & underestimated watch, I can understand your view that the earlier models have more class & charm. I had a few Prince Date Day Models myself. My Daily Watch at the Moment is the BB54, I think it's the only modern Tudor I really like at the moment. Cheers!

Excellent. I hope I was able to communicate that I still think current Tudors are outstanding watches; there's a stark contrast between how adventurous they used to be back then compared to now. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a shame that sometimes in order to move forward the only logical solution is to blend in.

I do like Tudor. I dont own one but I think they are well made and timeless. They aren't meant to fall in with the times but rather ride out the decades. I think this looks great and will look great in 50 years time. Take care man!
