I have a Gris Charnel dupe from Lattafa called Liam Grey. It’s like 97% similar and has great performance. It was like $35 I think. But I tested against my bdk sample I got and ya for almost 150 cheaper, it scratched my GC itch.

I was just going to ask about that! Ok 97% close is good! I’m scared of lataffa haven’t had the best luck ha but I broke and really want the gris charnel smell! What if anything is diff to you?

@@heavenjb my reply got deleted. I initially wrote that the openings were slightly different because GC was woodier, spicier, and more masculine after a few minutes they become almost exactly the same. GC feels a bit stronger to my nose initially. Liam is fluffier creamer and more cardamom and slightly more feminine to me. Overall same experience.

​@@dawnyakathem5374 and the new "Grise" by Lattafa, is apparently an even better dupe, where I would Liam Grey give max. 80% similarity, Grise I don't have yet, but everyone is saying that it's scary close to Grise Charnel.......;)

Hi Paulina. I love This Is Her, it's like no other and it's an amazing compliment getter... Zara did a perfect dupe : "Fields at Nightfall", have you ever tried it ? I also really like the flanker "This Is Her Undressed" by Zadig et Voltaire. I layer it sometimes with "This Is Her" and it's a very nice combo. Greetings from Paris ❤

You seem so passionate about these perfumes. A lot of the notes you mention are my favourites. I love Gris Charnel / Liam, and now I have some inspiration with more sandalwood. I also love cardamom & iris in other perfumes.

Not sure why but this is her smelled old wet bandages on me 😂. Commodity book expressive is a really good substitute for gris charnel. My next favorite sandalwood frag is velvet santal from Kayali. It's not similar to gris charnel but the sandalwood is so smooth and luxurious. Great video.

Love sandalwood for fall! I wore Z&V this is her to bed last night layered over sweet whiskey body care and wearing my Gris charnel clone today. I may even light a sandalwood based candle now so I can live in a cloud of sandalwood

Love this list! I really love Milky Musk from Parle Moi de Parfum (not on the list so I thought I'd share). I think it might be my favorite sandalwood fragrance. It's slightly sweet, rich and comforting. Also, I've been meaning to get two fragrances from EPC, ever since I saw a previous review on this channel, including the one mentioned in this video, but sadly, they do not ship to my country yet.

I like Papilefiko from Nishane as an alternative. Also This is us From Zadig is more my style, not so sweet but more unisex.

I have mainly bottles of Santal33, Santal Blush, This is Her, Bel Canto, Santal Blanc and Rehab, from your selection, but from those fragrances I wear and adore my Grise Charnel EdP and Extrait de Parfum the most, just Rehab is at one level on how much I love those fragrances, I mean, almost all of them are very different to Grise Charnel, and only share a prominent sandalwood note, but I know what you mean, just great sandalwood fragrances and not some, you would recommend over Grise Charnel, right?;)

Oh, I adore Santal Austral! My partner wears it and it lasts so long. We all have different experiences with fragrances and that’s alright ❤ I love these videos Paulina! Out of all of these which ones would you recommend for Summer? I’m in Australia and it’s 31• here xx

In Aus too and I have been loving 7 Virtues Santal Vanille so much. Unfortunately moderate projection and dries down to a skin scent.

Hi Paulina, I really suggest wood whisper by ojar , sandalwood and plum. so, heavenly! to be fair, my favorite sandalwood is Sunny Side Up, but I hate the bottle and the poor perfomance. So I am always looking for a sandalwood on the same vibes.

I tried Ojar’s Wood Whisper side by side This Is Her by Zadig and Voltaire. Hmmm Wood Whisper is the saaaaame thing, just pricier and less longevity
