I'm hoping you will have an answer for me please, i got another 13 by le labo because i watched your videos i was super excited to try it, but i couldn't smell it at all 😢😢 i spry it on my skin on my clothes and nothing reminds me when i had covid, it's like I'm spraying water please tell me what's the reason also i can't return it it's there policy 😢

The rice is muddled completely by the incredibly sweet what I assume is the pistachio notes in it. Maybe a sweet gourmand scent but in terms of pronouncing the savory nuttiness of rice it doesn’t do that good of a job at all

Recently purchased a borntostandout discovery set and Dirty Rice was an instant stand out. Definitely worth a sniff.

Didn’t realise that there’s quite a number of fragrances with rice notes. I have a small sample of Santal Basmati - the rice pudding scent brings me nostalgic memories of our kitchen when I was younger. Interestingly, I’ve been interested in testing the Floraiku one and ELDO for other reasons but this now gives me one more reason to check them out. The new release from Meo Fusciuni - Sogni is said to have a rice note. You may one to check it out when you’re in Esxence.

I bought Santal Basmati for my husband after he tried on the sample I ordered. He smells so gorgeous when he wears this.

Dragonfly (the original 2017) by Zoologist is one of my absolute favorites from the brand..and what I think made it so mysterious and airy and just so great to me was, in part the addition of that rice note! I have also been exploring Teo Cabanel finally- and I do enjoy Je ne se Quoi for its interesting notes including the rice. Thank you for always sharing your suggestions...I think I do want more rice in perfumery! Have Fun this weekend... xoxo

Try Chokedee by Strangers!! It's the most soothing, yet borderline gourmand rice scent ever. Sweet and airy!

Kenzo Amour has a fluffy rice note. It smells like a lovely creamy rice pudding.

Sweet Farewell by Strangers Parfumerie is another fragrance with a rice note and it’s inspired by a Thai dessert the perfumer often ate in their childhood. I love it!

Great Idea and choice. Dirty rice is one of the favourites scents of my wife. Even it is wheat she also loves Bois Farine.

A Mochi Atelier In Tokyo by Zara is my fave rice scent i own.

Santal Basmati is so good. 👍🏻 I own True Lust for years, never knew about the rice note! I adore Pure White Cologne by Creed, the rice note is lovely in there. ❤

I haven't smelled any fragrances with a rice note in them before but it sounds interesting. I like a bit of powderiness, especially with iris, so I think I would like it. That Floraiku fragrance is almost always on sale at this one discounter site I use. I might have to check it out. The ones from Affienressence, L'artisan Parfumeur, and Teo Cabanel all sound very interesting to me as well. I need to get to sampling.

I get the jist of the rice notes, Diptyque’s L’Eau Papier gives that bust of rice steam in the opening which I really like.

Great featuring the rice note again! It’s one of my favorite note because it could go powdery or lactonic which i love in fragrances. I have my Le Chant de Camargue and it is easily my top 3 fragrances. I bought Fils De Dieu by Etat Libre d’Orange. While it smells like a Lemongrass or Pandan Rice that is popular in South East Asian countries, the ginger and lime was so overpowering. It smells good on food but not in me. Among your top 5, what would you think is closest to Le Chant as a powdery and slightly creamy rice scent? Great video as always!

I bought the new Diptyque L’eau papier and I can really smell the rice aroma. Glad I love it since it’s one of my blind buy. I need to try some of these perfume 🥰

Thai Perfumer Prin Lomros (the 'nose' behind Strangers Parfumerie/Zoologist/Prissana/Prin does many fabulous S.E. Asian-inspired Rice fragrances with other really exotic and interesting notes/combinations. If you love Rice notes, check out his ranges.

Rice is a note I have never dreamed of in perfume! Great! A couple of these you reviewed sound like Southern Rice Pudding we eat here in the South :)

One of my favorite fragrances with a rice note is Equistrius by Parfums d’Empire.

I do own the Teo Cabanel Je Ne Sais Quoi, but need to try others.

The only fragrance with a rice that comes to my mind is Creed Pure White Cologne. And that frag happens to be one if two out of their Royal Exlusives line I would target as a buy.

Another brand - the last 2 sound just about right for me.

OMG Affinessense santal basmati is my holy grail ❤ i love it so much that i am careful not to use it up too fast cause its quite expensive and difficult to get where i live. Highly recommend!

I have right here a sample of Dirty Rice, sadly the least that I get on my skin is rice, I get the powder, I get the musk, the milkiness and the sandalwood but not the rice, need to try Santal Basmati and Je ne Sais Quoi. Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!

Would you be able to review L’eau Papier by Dyptique? I feel like it resembles Le Chant de Camargue but a more muted one or Fils de dieu. I can definitely smell a powdery rice with pandan leaf accord.

For some unexplainable reason, Santal Basmati sounds deliciously cozy!

I believe early next week.

I was going to say ELDO’s Putain Des Palaces but True Lust is a melange of that one with another fragrance and obviously both contain rice.

My favourite fragrance with a rice note is Poudrextase by Marlou. Soo sexy and so comforting. Do check it out!

Je Ne Sais Quoi was an odd one for me - very nice but almost TOO gourmand. My favourite rice fragrance (or at least a rice note) is Creed Pure White Cologne. Love it at this time of year.

When you said French rice I heard French fries…now I kinda want a French fry frag. Or just a French fry.

I get big rice in the dry down of Creed Queen of Silk.

Surprised to see True Lust here instead of Fils de Dieu 😅

I haven't tried the White Rice sadly. But sounds good. Try all of these as I think the genre does lean a bit femme powdery! :)

Pierre Guillaume is a great house! I think it is under-rated as heck!

Rice makes me nauseous in perfume. I have the Teo cabanel one but I’m going to sell it. I literally got sick. First perfume to do that for me😕

Rice???? I would've never guessed rice being used as a note in fragrances but then again, what can't be used these days to make fragrances. I just found it very interesting that rice is being used and this is why I appreciate Sebastian/his channel for such information.

I really gotta get out more. I genuinely can't remember what rice actually smells like.

I think you missed Zoologist Dragonfly .. its best rice perfume..
