Scott's broadsword literally shimmered in the light. That's a stunning visual! Not to mention that it hardly took any damage. Excellent forging, I'd have to say.
Scott's sword was amazing and the damascus was incredible. Making that sword at 18 is amazing as well. He's gonna make some amazing pieces over the years.
This test is significant because historically, when medieval knights were attacked, it was usually by battering rams constructed of CCA pressure treated fence post. If their swords hadn't held up during these encounters it meant almost certain death for our honorable knights.

Amazing attitude on Colton's part. This is class. No victim, no excuses, will learn from this for sure - because of his outlook. This is the kind of people the world needs. For his first sword also, he did amazing.
The attitude of every runner up walking out of the forge is inspiring. Every other Tv competition show you see these people crying and whining about how they thought they got dissed. Definitely my favorite competition show to ever air.

For an 18 year old, making his first ever sword, I'd say, it's pretty impressive.
