I heard the tale was a tribute to a real-life couple who were Santa Monica developers, so I'm not sure if it was intended for Kratos and Freya as well. I won't lie tho, it would make for a really cute hint towards their relationship if they actually do end up together.

Freya does have another son named Ulr, who is a Marksman God. But I don't think she'd want to have a kid with Kratos after he killed her other son. Also, I wish we got to see Freya meet Forseti. He is technically her Grandson.

I think Freya realizes it was her obsession of protecting Baldr that killed him and she blames her self somewhat I can see it happening
