There have been dozens of school shooters. This one is trans. Why assume that this has anything to do with them being trans when the rest aren't/weren't. The most-common factor is that they were outsiders and/or bullied. If this person was bullied for being trans, the sexual identity piece really isn't relevant; it would come down to being bullied.

There are many reasons the manifesto needs to be released. I assume you don't know why they aren't releasing it, and it has nothing to do with the victims. If you want to actually respect the victims, you'd want this released so in the future, it can be stopped better so no more unstable mental lgbtq followers shoot up schools. What he wrote in the manifesto is the reason why he killed kids. It all has to do with his lgbtq identity and hate for others, and that's why they are keeping it back.

Actually no, not after birth. Since you are asking honestly, i assume you want to know. I will try to be brief, lol (im an old wind-bag) Ok, there are male and female minds...this is the "gender" that you feel like. This is seperate from the genetics or the sexual organs (XX,XY,XXY,XYY, etc..) during the first trimester the mother will have various hormonal mixes in her system and thus the embryos as well. WE all produce things like testosterone AND estrogen...just at different levels. And a female needs to produce testosterone to produce male children correctly. If the embryos is genetically female, BUT the mother is producing too much test. then the mind will develop into a male mind. The opposite occurs also. This is just a common biological function and NOT a mental health issue. the Issue is dysphoria ( where you feel like you are the wrong sex) the "cure" is transitioning. So trans are as nature made them, same as blacks and white are, same as gay straight are, same as smart and dumb are...we cannot do anything about how we are born. It is how we live that matters. This guy had problems, dysphoria may have been a part...society though is to blame for that part. But after birth, hormones just control actions within the body. Test suppresses Estrogen and visa versa ( there are others, but keeping it brief) So in a male, est would lower sperm production, and increase breast regions in adult people. In children during puberty there are lots of changes that trans people want to stop, but cannot because of the hormones. Anyway..feel free to follow up question, just not follow up insult. fyi I have a trans daughter, and why I learned about it.

Hyper sexual easy to anger. Just wondering if that could play a role. Because I do know testosterone does effect brain chemistry and mood. Signs of low T in men can be depression and irritability.

I doubt it was the sole factor in the shooting and shouldn't be blamed. If the shooter already had a "broken" mind then those side effects could have pushed them to the brink, amongst other things.

It is definitely rare but there have been six other women who were mass shooters since 1900; none of the others were trans. They were: Brenda Spencer (the song "I Don't Like Mondays" by the immortal bards, the Boomtown Rats, was inspired by her), Jennifer San Marco, Amy Bishop, Tashfeen Malik (who conspired with her husband) and Latina Williams. According to FBI statistics, women are responsible for 2% of mass shootings since 1900. The definition is a little slippery because different organisations use different criteria. The FBI has a very wide definition--in their definition, a mass shooting has at least three victims but does not necessarily include any fatalities (Latina Williams wounded two victims but only killed herself). So, all in all, there's a roughly 1 in 50 statistical chance that any hypothetical mass shooter will be a woman and a much, much, much lower chance that the woman would be a trans woman. Women do commit mass shootings but at a much lower rate than men do.

@@GrainneDhu Nice info, BUT, you make an incorrect conclusion. You are too hasty is noting that they are not "male". Lets take Jennifer San Marco.... she tried to work as police, as security guards, etc...typically male lines of work. This was also in the 70's and 80's when the trans movement was very rare and most people did not know anymore about trans other then "klinger" on MASH. (ie bunk) So it is entirely possible that she was trans and simply did not understand how to deal with it. Amy Bishop, was suicidal and "crazy" ( as reported by colleagues), she killed her brother and shot at cars along the street with a shotgun, YEARS before she was a mass shooter....Again, without more info she could have been suffering from the stress also. I am not going to bother with the rest since my point is illustrated with these two. The point is that they are from a time period that trans was not a thing to the populace at large, so they MAY have been. We simply do not know and cannot not know anymore. ( sorry, we COULD test Bishop...she is still in prison) But Do not jump to conclusions to justify your belief...that is a logic fallacy. But I agree, the rate that sexual women commit mass shootings is worse....But growing as well.

What about uncontrolled medications, like antidepressants, Adhd anti-anxiety meds? What about hormones? Many people in transition will take extra hormones as they are in a hurry to get to their new "selves" and they think if they take more of the hormone their secondary sex characteristics will develop and/or go away.

Drugs (prescription or illegal) don’t cause people to shoot children. If they did, there wouldn’t be any children left and the majority of people would be murderers

Children lightly reflect their parents, peers, idols (if they have them) and society and how they all interact in their view. They can even reflect enemies and those they despise, envy or alike. No drugs, imo- points likely to a very depressed individual who needed help and direction, but for whatever reasons was left alone in a dark that would have such results.

Are you another who is lost in any comment that’s made other than a yes or a no reply, comment or answer? You seem the kind who would investigate a murder scene and simply blame it all on the gun! I’m stating that kids don’t just go round shooting people. Kids can’t make guns or buy them. Kids would rarely want to kill unless something is drastically wrong in their lives and hence they have had influence. People making out that ‘children’ are to blame is the most unreasonable and irresponsible thing I could imagine to say as a parent. If my child went out into the world and did such crimes I would know I failed them. Obviously you feel different and would continue as if you were not a part of that. Hmmmm.
