Actually I kinda had that experience when I recently rewatched the video to Lionel Richie's "Hello". The worst thing is, that for once I could really see what they meant. - The lyrics in themselves are good, but in combination with the images of a professor following a much younger blind female student, it suddenly isn't so great. But maybe that's because I'm now old enough to be that students mother, and know that such relationships only rarely turn out ok.

For my first Christmas Prezzy my brother Jerry brought me a cassette player and loads of tape cassettes..lol This was the first tape I knew because of the name, Foreigner ..LOVE THEM. DUE to the Jukebox ..in a town 40 minutes away, I would hit the buttons too when we were in shopping or doing laundry. This song was such a hit. Then,... one day years later, I went to an outdoor rock festival, in Lloydminister Alberta / Saskatchewan, Canada, and there he was singing this song....Lou Gramm ... Like in a concert hall, like we were in the ... Royal Albert Hall..or was like listening to a CD at home, ... I was a meter, away in the sprinkling rain and soft wind... .. his voice was the same and his music was 100 %. I will never forget that day, He was brilliant... Made me cry ... It was AWESOME.

Foreigner's "Waiting for a Girl Like You" was No. 2 for a record-setting 10 weeks, but never made it to No. 1. It stalled at No. 2 behind Olivia Newton-John's chart-topping megahit "Physical" for nine of those 10 weeks, and then it was leap-frogged over by Hall and Oates' "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" for its 10th week at No. 2 ... before it started its descent down the Billboard pop singles chart.
