Lyrics:
So long, I've been looking too hard, I've been waiting too long
Sometimes I don't know what I will find
I only know it's a matter of time
When you love someone
When you love someone
It feels so right, so warm and true
I need to know if you feel it too
Maybe I'm wrong
Won't you tell me if I'm coming on too strong?
This heart of mine has been hurt before
This time I want to be sure
I've been waiting for a girl like you
To come into my life
I've been waiting for a girl like you
A love that will survive
I've been waiting for someone new
To make me feel alive
Yeah, waiting for a girl like you
To come into my life
You're so good
When we make love it's understood
It's more than a touch or a word we say
Only in dreams could it be this way
When you love someone
Yeah, really love someone
Now, I know it's right
From the moment I wake up till deep in the night
There's nowhere on earth that I'd rather be
Then holding you, tenderly
I've been waiting for a girl like you
To come into my life
I've been waiting for a girl like you
A love that will survive
I've been waiting for someone new
To make me feel alive
Yeah, waiting for a girl like you
To come into my life
I've been waiting for a girl like you
To come into my life
I've been waiting for a girl like you
A love that will survive
I've been waiting for someone new
To make me feel alive
Yeah, waiting for a girl like you
To come into my life
Won't you come into my life?
My life?

Music does the same for me. It can either motivate me or even boost my moods, or at times, music can express emotions that u are feeling. The lyrics to this song are very pretty & sometimes music can make me emotional. However, it really depends. I love music & listen daily regardless. It helps with my anxiety & thoughts & even if I'm going thru something, it definitely helps. It can bring back happy memories or sad feelings. However, overall music definitely helps me with a lot in life. 🥰❤️🎼🦋🤍✨️🎶🎵

I along with two friends went to the Foreigner concert last night(Friday) at Treasure island Casino in Welch,Minnesota about a hour's drive from the Twin Cities where I live. It was the the by far the most I paid($131.00) for a concert ticket by far but it was well worth it. It was my first time seeing these boys in concert. I have heard their songs in the radio and on the Utube but once i heard them I though that's a good song thats 's a good song and when i heard their collectively I realized that they a just a great band . How they are not in The Rock and Roll and Roll Hall of Fame is beyond me and lesser bands like one hit wonders like The Clash and The Clash and Cheap Trick with their silly trite songs.Their only good song was The Flame. The Rock and Roll and Roll Hall of Fame missed the boat on many levels But i degress.I think Kelly Hansen was just a s good as Lou Gramm and Mick Jones(I have only seen them perform on Utube.Hansen was engaging, funny and little raunchy. He kept the the audience engaged by jumping from one end of the stage to the other throughout. IT WAS THEIR GREATEST HITS/FAREWELL TOUR BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO STAY AROUND TOO LONG.But perhaps they will change their minds like many rock bands (motivated by the urge to play live and money) and do a comeback tour. It was an older crowd-mostly over 50 and Hansen talked about it but he mentioned that the 40 and under group in the audience had good taste in music. Yes indeed! THERE WEREN'T ANY LIGHTERS LIGHTING UP(AS YOU WERE LIKELY TO SEE IN YOUNGER AUDIENCES) THEY WERE REPLACED BY CAMERA PHONES RECORDING THE EVENT. THEY PLAYED ALL OF THEIR BEST HITS INCLUDING MY TWO FAVORITES,THOSE SYuRPY LONG BALLADS," Waiting for a girl like you" and ' mega hit "I want to what love is the song that broke up the original group mainly Gramm and Jones(too much ego for credit and money. I did find something interesting when they played "Urgent" I couldn't figure out if they piped in the saxophone or used a square like instrument to emit the saxophone sound which is the coolest sound in music.I have rambled enough,They were my second faviorite band (to the Beatles whom i grew up listening.) but they are not far behind those :"lad s from liverpool!

So long, I've been looking too hard I've been waiting too long Sometimes I don't know what I will find I only know it's a matter of time When you love someone When you love someone It feels so right, so warm and true I need to know if you feel it too Maybe I'm wrong Won't you tell me if I'm coming on too strong? This heart of mine has been hurt before This time I want to be sure I've been waiting for a girl like you to come into my life I've been waiting for a girl like you, your a love that will survive I've been waiting for someone new to make me feel alive Yeah, waiting for a girl like you to come into my life You're so good When we make love it's understood It's more than a touch or a word can say Only in dreams could it be this way When you love someone Yeah, I really love someone Now, I know it's right From the moment I wake up 'til deep in the night There's nowhere on earth that I'd rather be than holding you tenderly I've been waiting for a girl like you to come into my life I've been waiting for a girl like you, your a love that will survive I've been waiting for someone new to make me feel alive Yeah, waiting for a girl like you to come into my life I've been waiting, waiting for you, ooh Ooh, I've been waiting (Waiting) I've been waiting, yeah (I've been waiting for a girl like you, I've been waiting) Won't you come into my life? Ah
