Kelly Hansen is a good energetic vocalist, I am happy that Foreigner can continue, but if not for Lou Gram there would be no Foreigner

He makes the song his own. Not only sings but makes small changes here and there making it a much richer interpretation

Lou Gramm The one and only lead vocalist for Foreigner in my book. Never anyone to touch him because he not only knows the words and sings the song like the lead vocalist they have now but Lou had you feeling it from your head to your toes!!!! Kelly has a good voice but Lou had SOUL

I so agree, Lou had you feeling the songs from your head to your toes! Lou's passion and intensity are so infectious! Kelly is a good singer but he mostly imitates Lou's way of singing and I also guess Mick wanted a singer whose voice was not too different from Lou's because he knows Lou's voice and passionate singing made Foreigner at least as much as his riffs did. But Lou had more than just a vocal signature, like you say he had soul and sang with his heart, and it's something Kelly can't imitate.

Little Sister Absolutely!!! Well stated. There will never be another Lou Gramm! NEVER! When I look and listen to some of the videos on your tube of him in Foreigner...I say to myself....Good Lord...how did Lou make his voice do that with some of those high notes and voice tone. Then I say...GOD GIVEN talent that's how!

Rose, waited for a girl like you my whole entire life. Little did I know 1984 November I was in a rehab and aliquippa called gateway this song came on as I was in my room and staring out the window at the snow falling blanketing the highway with cars passing by and tears running down my face. I still remember as if it was yesterday the feeling that I had that day, and little did I know some 31 years later you came back into my life. Fast forward 2015 as if it was yesterday I still get the same feeling and it means that much more and some even till today. So now it's 2023 and we're still together and nothing's changed as far as the feelings the love that happiness the joy cannot be denied. I have been so fortunate and grateful for the love that you've given me shown me and still continue to this day in 2023. You have been given a gift from God to have an impact on everybody you come in contact with, so much so that you are an angel of God, a blessing to this world and everybody you come in contact with I have yet to meet anybody as special as you. You supply everything I need and I will never be able to thank you in life because it's in measurable I love you sweetheart always and forever AMEN

Never a better lead vocalist in Rock music. He can better tender or he can rock it loud and heavy when needed. I 'm glad he had the courage to return after his healt problems. It's a long hard road he trod. This recording is not the best I've heard, but still he is loved to this day. God Bless Lou Gramm

Was fortunate enough to see Foreigner debut in Binghamton after a canceled show the prior year. And our crowd was ready. And my brother lived in Rochester New York for several years and one place he lived was Lake Avenue from the "Rev On The Red Line" fame. Lou, know what issues you have had to deal with and very proud of your recovery.

I listen and have listened to this group my whole life to this gorgeous man sing in such amazing beautiful voice you can't help feel the conviction he gives to his music!!???!!! I would consider life to be just right at perfect if I were blessed to ever be sang a song like this one by such a beautiful voice a beautiful Man I just could not ask for anything more.
