Filipinos are industrious specially when we are working abroad. We see to it that we give our best to our work. We are serious workers too. We dont leave or abandon our work if the reliever is not yet around or didnt report at work. We make sure we know what we are doing. Filipino seafarers are also one among the best. God bless you Nelly good you have your own channel.

this is because the Filipinos used to make a living from our GRANDFATHERS then, who is now followed by the new generation. Nowadays it has the biggest income so many Filipinos want to work in this kind of BIG INCOME even if it is poor and far from the family. some make it home tothey can buy LAND and build HOUSES AND THEIR ENTIRE FAMILIES HAVE A GOOD LIFE.

Hi Nelly! I'm your avid fan for like more than 3 years now, and I find you and Mike's vlogs very entertaining , informative and inspirational. I'm a relatively new vlogger but was a journalist first in my younger days. Anyway, I find a lot of truth in this video that you are reacting to but somethings has been missed and I would like to supplement that. I'm 55 yrs old now and have grown during the Marcos years. Personally, our experience during the Marcos era was generally better than what it is like in the past 30 years governed by 5 presidents Philippines' worst before Duterte came, that made it slightly better especially for the lives of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). Why? Because during the Marcos era, most Filipinos goes to abroad and migrate Not because of need but mostly because of want. Meaning, Not necessarily because of financial need but just like looking for a better family education, a greener pasture, like an American dream for their families. Economy then was much better and life not so difficult until the 1986 Government take over happened and from there the country plummeted to an all time low, Why? because in this era, the rich only became richer and the poor got poorer. It was a gov't for the wealthy not for the common Filipino. But this election we just had recently this 2022 , will change all that, like I said the transformation process begun with Duterte in his 6 years term, with his drug war , anti-criminality policies, the Build , Build, Build projects nationwide and giving priority programs for the OFWs. And now, with the son of the old Marcos, the majority of us Filipinos are hopeful we will see the emergence of the country as the fastest rising star in the Pacific in the next 6 years and onwards with very good technocrat president Bong Bong Marcos and VP Sara Duterte, daughter of the former president Rodrigo Duterte. Why do I need to say these things? Because it is related to the video that you are reacting to. In this new Administration, they are now transforming the Government that is primarily to serve not only the country but more so a government for the people and by the people. The people have spoken, enough is enough with the old useless yellow government and politicians and we have decided to bring back the Marcoses to the government who made the Philippines great 36 years ago, because during the old Marcos Sr's time the Philippines is even 2nd to Japan in terms of infrastructure , economy and military power. And most Filipinos then like I said , only goes and works abroad because of wants not because of need. Mind you still then and now Filipinos are the best in Asia as migrant workers from all works in life from doctors, lawyers, ITs down to laborers , factory workers and domestic helpers. Sad it may seem that other nationalities look down upon Filipinos but we are very proud and skillful in what we do and we always excel and do best. There's one global knowledge which the Saud nationals says this every time, "That if Filipinos all over the World would Stop working just for a day... The World will Stop too. " . And that is practically true. Imagine every Filipino will stop working simultaneously all over the World, every businesses might collapse in the stock market even. Just background facts that I would like to share to you Nelly.. some Filipinos might disagree especially on the political part I mentioned here but it's true. Hope you find my narratives here worth your while at least something to ponder about... if you have any questions or wanted to clarify things just message me, here's my email address- rsolomontoursandrealty@gmail.com or rsolomonbiz@gmail.com. Thanks Nelly and More power to your channel. God bless ;)

If you think about it, it is sad that grand parents are raising their grandkids while parents work overseas. It’s different if they can take their families with them, but for many they leave their families behind. If the government could fix all the corrupt dealings and create a strong economy then citizens wouldn’t need to leave their homeland.
