Thank you for sharing this video ive had a transit custom for about 18 months and ive had the issues you described i thought it may well be clutch related. After watching your video i went straight out to my van and had a look and the mount was absolutely batterd it had come away completely on one side and about half on the other. Ive replaced the mount and its absolutely fantastic now. It feels so much smoother when i change gear and i can do hill starts again 😂 thank you 😊

Cheers for the video, but I wish you had shown the removal process. I am sure it is easy, or does in need anythign supporting before removing the two bolts? Don't want to remove the bolts only for the engien to shift and then not be able to get the mount back in place.

It's fine you can rock the engine easily

I have the same clunk on my Ford transit custom 2016 plate every time I drive and take my foot off the clutch it makes a clunk , thanks for the video I'll show my mechanic the video.

I ordered the part and my mechanic put my custom on the ramp and it was the exact same part you , were showing on the video. Thank you for sharing the content. I also ordered Lanoguard to spray underneath, stop any rusting. My mechanic said I need new disc's and pads for the front @ £451.14 and for the rear @ £423.00 So I'll be saving up lol.

It's 80% noise but u can feel it, put it in 1st drive forward and harshly go on and off the throttle, you will hear and feel it.

Marty great content as always. I to have a 2013 transit. I’m having problems getting the fan belt off the tensioner. Is there a trick to it? Cheers

@@Martysworkshop Sorry no. I think that I am the only one hear in NZ with this variant of transit. 2013 transits were not very popular! a lot of Toyota’s. It’s turning into a ball ache trying to get affordable parts ect. I’ve booked into a dealers to get it done, I will need to sell a kidney!! 😬. After watching your video on brake rotors, inspired me to do my own, saved me a fortune, fantastic video. No bollocks and what I like about it the most, you gave all of the torque specification, for me safety first. Cheers

Mines is clunking changed that but made no difference, it’s the one on top of the gearbox that’s gone, I bought the part but haven’t changed it yet, looks tight to get to it

And yes!!!! Just sprayed some wd40 and that was weeks ago and stil no knocking noise !!

Is that sound is like metal loud click ?

Thanks for your reply so fast , I have 2022 ford custom 30 000 km on the clock ,its sounds like metal click , I can only hear when 1 gear and reverse, but you have tondo harshly ,that make me crazy because I look after the van , no hard driving, I was thinking mabybits a brake pads ,is it possible to located the problem my self

I have the same problem with the ford transit trend 2.2 engine, I hear the same clunk when I lift my foot after the clutch, the engine mounts are new, from ford, but not the one on the left when you look at the car in front, it is also new but it is not from Ford, they were changed for this reason and it makes no difference
