Well, point is that this is a budget car, "most bang for the buck" type. And pulled out 213hp from stock 100hp is good for this kid of money, even though my weld looks like shit hahaha :) Look at my other movie, of this sierra, running in the dynos.. you can clearly see how bad i welded haha! I run standalone ECU's on my other car projects, that are more serious done :)

what fuel was it using? can u run standard unleaded?

The differential is welded. Dynoed it to 213hp/355nm @ 0.78bar boost.

now thats what i like .... i have a pinto 2.0 . 205 block in my vw t25 and looking to tune / upgrade it to this standards do you have any pointers on where to start first ? mybe fit efi first? all help / pointers will be appreciated . thank you .

Say around $350 USD. It ran on 352cc injectors in fuelrail, and Volvo 740 K-jet fuelpump on E85. + 2pcs 370cc extra fuel injectors. Very good ratio cost/fun :-)

No, compression ratio is pretty low by default in Pintos. Together with E85, it's a Win Win :)

e85 is a fuel type it contains 85%ethanol and 15% gasoline

All engines can run E85, It's just a question about how much fuel you feed them.

Bilal as I know of, there isnt. I’m in the same boat as you with my 2.3 Capri. Best would be to go for a pinto or a 2.8 efi / 2.9 cossie for more power

Well, you can always make your own manifold and weld everything up.

Hey man, nice video, watched it like 20 times already :) Did you use type9 or mt75 transmission? Also, if you ran Mt75, what flywheel/clutch? (220-240?) THanks!

+cs Man (Mancs) Damn, 20 times! You really have to get a life mate. Original gearbox, dont know the type of it sorry! Stock flywheel with original pressure plate but a sinter disc. Happy new year!

+cs Man (Mancs) Look like it has a Type 9, the reverse is on the upper left. On the MT75 it's on the bottom right.

Just normal pressure switches, fully adjustable from 2-24psi. Only thing I know, it was 11 years ago 😃 the company that i bought them from is no longer active.

***** The airflowmeter is there for a reason if you run stock ECU. Used stock pressure plate and a sinter disc.

What about pistons and transmission? AFAIK the stock Type-9 transmission is not strong enough to handle this much power, MT-75 from twinkies are much more strong. I have little information on stock pistons, are they suited for this?

bestofblocket That's rad, I'm going to try this. You've mentioned that you've used extra injectors - if I understand correctly, you've left the stock injectors in as well. Does it make sense to swap the stock ones to larger ones or is it better to leave them in and have 8? I'm going to have custom EFI anyway.
