Ford Raptor Out Of It’s Element

Come along with us as we complete two rescues!
The first one was a jeep liberty that lost its transmission on the Toquerville Falls Road. The road to Toquerville falls is very rough with a lot of elevation change. We found the customer about halfway to the falls and we were able to get them pulled up to a point where they were able to coast about half way out.
Sorry about the brakes on my jeep squeaking, the pads were wore down to a nub.
The next rescue was a 2018 Ford raptor that had got stuck in the sand dunes.
We had to be careful not to do damage to the raptor on the rocks that were near the right side running board.
Unfortunately, we had some camera storage problems and we missed the most important piece of footage. Sorry about that, we are working on the problem.

i honestly enjoy your lack of "ad lib" and the lack of "if you like this video please "smash" the subscribe button and like" that every video puts out there. You speak when there's something to say otherwise... i enjoy the heck out of just the sounds of the jeep, clanking of hooking up the tow straps and quietness of where you guys are at. So many videos "this.. is a tire, this is a wheel and it's round because...." We have eyeballs! You're doing great and the channel is doing great because of the authenticity and sincerity, so don't ever think you need to "add more" of anything. I like when you add your .02 cents and when it's time to work and for us to simply observe.

I also watch plaza towing, the guy who gets big trucks unstuck and turned back over with the rubber side facing the ground again. I enjoy your channel as much as I do his. Good work and hope you keep making vidoes. That is one amazing Jeep Cherokee and I like what you did to it to make it useful for getting people unstuck. I hope some day I can come viist the area, but I will not be going off road, that's for sure.

You don’t need a script. People like you and this channel just the way it is. I think the fact that you’re down home and easy going is what makes it appealing with those little gems like “well, that shortcut added about a minute”. Hilarious. I like the speeded up video with the great music when you have a long destination also.

I am loving your videos. Don’t change a thing. It’s a perfect recipe. People doing stupid stuff with there vehicles and you and your team helping those people. I enjoy and appreciate your subtle but very important suggestions, recommendations and guidance that you give. I also like that your doing it that old Jeep and that you don’t have all the gear that everyone seems is so needed. Bumpers , racks, roof top tents, oh my! But get bead locks. Man, you flat a lot.

Most of the really legendary engines are between 3-4L inline 6, the 4.0 in the jeep is no exception! Burns fuel leaks oil but just keeps going 👌 I believe the 4.0 was an AMC product?

The dreaded traction control kicking back in on its own! Been there and damn near jack knifed in my trailer going up a muddy hill a few times. If you turn it off it should stay off especially on a 4wd vehicle.

I love how you mention what people are willing to do to vehicles that they are just renting. Rescued 2 groups of people in rentals myself this summer in Death Valley on a day when my thermometer hit 129 degrees. One couple blew their engine on the rental because even after overheating, he kept going WOT to get up a grade.

Had an old Jeep Grand Cherokee that was much more suited to the rough and deep stuff. Have some fond memories of it driving through snow up to the windows , or being the only vehicle moving on the road in a blizzard. Like how it powered up out the ditch after Lana did the only 720 of my life and put us there. I knew she was going to fast but husbands can’t say that. As it was spinning I was thinking we were going to flip but vehicle stayed smoothly upright. Different story with old Ford Explorer I had- R.I.P..
