My God, every time something new comes out, no matter how cool or nice it is, the video's get flooded with hater and troll comments. I own a 2018 F150 Screw 5.0 FX4, so I prefer big trucks and V8's but I still think this thing is awesome, and looks fantastic too.

Dear Ford ... We love the look of the Raptors. They're the best looking trucks out there. What most guys hate, is paying for all the safety feature shit. No one wants lane assist, automatic parking or any safety sensors. The only tech I want in a truck, is a CD player and AC. All the other shit I could do without. I don't mind paying 70K for a badass truck but, I don't like knowing that 10 of that 70K is for shit that I don't want.

No, what im saying is that Ford did their homework for what customers want and and they studied the market. You may not need it but many like gadgets. For my part i dont need it. Ford is a little bit too late in this segment and already lost a lot of sales during the last few years. People tend to be too nostalgic about the simplicity of trucks back then. A truck today has nothing to do with those. Thats all im saying

I Drove one last weekend, I was looking at buying the 3.2 Ranger. Have to say a totally different vehicle. The engine and gearbox is a lot more refined than the 3.2 auto. I only drove on some rough sealed roads and some highway. The raptor interior and suspension make for a great ride. Would have been great if they could have got a more powerful motor like the V6 Amarok. I drive on half built roads every day for work and don’t need to tow 3.5t ever so I am seriously considering buying one of these. Oh and they look fantastic. This is from a non Ford guy. My first car was an escort 30 yrs ago and I haven’t owned a Ford since.

So, you guys would rather have a big, heavy, noisy, inefficient, relatively weak motor than you would a small super engine. 360 foot pounds of torque for a small vehicle is nothing at which to thumb your nose. Probably will have close to 300 HP.!

I've been obsessed with the $38,000 Colorado ZR2 with the little Duramax diesel, little Allison,..4:1 transfercase, electronic Locking front AND Rear differentials , electronic sway bar disconnect,..a bit a the top performer ,..aside from a $35,000 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon,..a $55,000 Dodge Ram Powerwagon, $175,000 Mercedes G63 AMG wagon and a $250,000+ Unimog ,..there not anything else that has all of this, ESPECIALLY A FRONT selectable locking diff,..all the big boys off-road 4x4's have locking rear diffs,..like the $80,000+ f150 raptor etc,..but very very few on earth have a front as well, which ask ANY avid 4wheeler thats doing Moab's , or Rubicons worst trails you NEED a front locking Differantial ,.. a 4:1 t-case is critical too for low range,..Baja type vehicles like raptor maybe not so important but regardless of ALL this,..I LOvE the f150 Raptor, my brother has a 2019 BUT again NO locking front diff option ,..may not be critical for the Ranger Raptor but I've fsllrd in love with this ranger raptor,..really hoping where it's a twin turbo diesel and 10 speed, they did a front selectable locking diff! Why not??? I'm guessing pricing is WELL beyond A jeep Rubicon or ZR2, so why not add a few $k for a F-Lock-diff? If a jeep Rubicon can do it AND EVERY other 4x4 option possible ,..a NEW gen ranger raptor SHOULD have it! I can't seem to find details on whether it has it tho??? Anyone? sO badass!!! If the R-R has a front diff lock and 4:1 + E/Sway bar disconnect it'd be a HARD call between a ZR2 and RR! I LOVE a Duramax diesel+Allison option , hell its in Heavy equipment , tractors etc ,.real world proven,. but that raptor looks SO good!! LOVE the Baja widebody!!! And TT-dieslel! Let me throw a little wildcard,..Jeep has the new 4-door truck conning which is a Jeep JL wrangler with a bed,..they ARE doing a Rubicon version as well with the 4:1, E-swaybar disc., ALL the electronic off-road options of sand snow rock water crossing etc ,F&R E-lockers, 4.10 gears, AND bringing the commonrail Diesel to the US!! The 2019!Jeep JL wrangler Rubicon 4door has now proved itself even over its top performing 4x4 of the year brother from the previous year,..look up "Litebrite" a KZread that built a 2019 that takes it with a little lift and a winch places that $150,000+ modified rock buggies and Baja purpose builts go! It's proven the new JL Rubicon is SO far beyond anything out there it's rediculous,..now adding that exact vehicle with 4 doors, a truck bed, by adding a common-rail diesel Cummins mod and new tec axles it's a game changer and hoping Ford steps up to meet it,..will be considerable less than this raptor too SO Ford needs to step up , add front selectable locker, E-Sway bar disc, and a 4:1 wouldn't cost more than $1,000 a per vehicle, do it Ford and you may have a top performer!!! Or stay wothout it, keep it a high speed Baja vehicle that can't rock crawl, hill climb, expedition or do a lot else, and costs more than a ZR2 or Rubicon . 🤔 that CAN do those. Point is,..Ford NEEDS a selectable front locker diff vehicle , and just annoying they STILL don't have one on ANY vehicle and NEVER have before??? they don't have one in ANY Ford vehicle ,..if this is the 4x4 top performer for Ford it's gotta have one! Chevy has a 4x4 with EVERY 4x4 option available, so does jeep and dodge ,..I've heard Toyota has developed a front diff lock now in a TRD ,..missing a 4:1 and sway bar disconnect tho,..Ford shouldn't be this far behind with a truck this cool! The f150 raptor should have it too for that matter but is a lot heavier ,,.thats why the jeep and ZR2 are so good for front diff lock. I'm a jeep guy but have a Safari built TRD 4Runner with Factory TRD selectable rear locker and an aftermarket ARB selectable front locking diff and it's a game changer! I do trails in Moab with purpose built rock buggies and then drive 250 miles home end of day. For those that say a front locking diff doesn't matter ,..if you go to the 4x4 proving grounds of Moab Utah where GM, Ford and dodge/Jeep/Chrysler do a LOT of their severe 4x4 testing,..the harder trails list "Rear locker mandatory AND FRONT diff Locker mandatory!" There's a reason for that,..IF YOU want to do some of the hardest 4x4 trails on earth like the 2019 JL Rubicon and ZR2 are doing , you MUST have a front Locker!! (A 4:1 and ESBS helps too,)A F-150 raptor won't get past the first obstacle on half the top trails in Moab and has only been shown to actually finish 1 of them , being Hells Revenge which isn't all that crazy but rated one of the hardest in spite,..when a Rubicon JL will do 95%of them AND completeing MOST of the hard bypasses not taking the easy bypass like the 4WheelDrive magazine test of the f150R had to do. It's a key. If you want to see what the difference is watch the KZread video 2019 F150 Raptor verses 2019 Ram Powerwagon to see how it goes. They did tons of testing and the ONLY test that the raptor beat the heavier Ram in was high speed whoopty doos,..EVeRY other test of 13 total was largely won by the oowerwagon which is sad considering its SO heavy and a 3/4 ton with an older big v8,..but beat the raptor SO badly because of the front diff lock, 4:1 , gearing and ESBDisc. The rockcrawler and hillclimb section was embarrassing for the raptor,..the limited slip front diff did just that,..it was limited and slipped horribly,..dropping to a halt 1/8th the way up the climb and 1/6th the way into the crawler section. When the power wagon finished both where only the Rubicon wrangler and a $300,000 Mercedes Benz Unimog (which honesty is a commercial vehicle when you can order it as a forest fighting fire truck) the aMG G-wagon would fare well with all the same but no one has yet to allow their $175-200,000+ luxury SUV to test it lol. The aftermarket Brabus 6x6 Gwagon has done it but clearly not a stock vehicle,..the ONLY other one that has done 10 for 10 in manufacturers Moab testing was the New US Military Hummer replacement built by Oshkosh but again,..talking $250,000+ for that. So realistically only 3 attainable vehicle for most people have EVER passed this testing ,..Ford needs to reach higher! Wouldn't it be cool for Ford to take the RR and hit the MOHVMB testing and actually be the first Ford and only the 4th OEM vehicle to ever complete those OHV tests!? There's NO excuse, raptors are a topnof the line off-road performer ,..probably the best looking ,..and most expensive ,..freaking give it a $1,000 front locker for hells sake ESBD and at least a dog box 4:1 add in or gear change. With Fords in house manufacturing they could literally manufacture ALL these for likely $1k for all of it per vehicle and mark it up a little. Telling ya IF they did,..theyd pick up a LOT of jeep guys,..Toyota guys,..anyone into rock crawling or expedition long range wheeling. Sales would be even crazier than already! and this raptor would be perfect!!! With ALL the development into Baja why not add that and be the top of tops!!!??? Please do it Ford and pick up a TON more buyers!!! IF not,..why pay that pricing when you can get a ZR2 or new jeep pickup with better 4x4 system? Please Ford! Do it! 👏👍👍

@@XX-mw7zm how is it not smooth? I had the old 2011 raptor with the 6.2L V8 with the original fox shocks and that thing drove and road like a champ. I accidently hit a monster speed bump (12"high and 2-3ft across the top) at 40mph-45 mph went airborne and it soaked it up very good, I find it very hard to believe that after upgrading the shocks in the gen 2's to a more beefy and adjustable system for the shocks it some how gave it a worse ride......To be honest the 6.2L raptors ride was compairable to riding in a mid ranged luxury car as far as comfort. So im not sure what you mean by rough ride and by far the best riding vehicle i've ever owned, granted I've never owned a high end luxury car.

Traded the truck in for a brand new Honda clarity, difference in quality is night and day, one have to be crazy to buy a Ford again after Honda.
