Impressions/observations during the test drive:
The design of this 7th generation Mustang is aggressive and sporty, but not too much - it is very nice! Its headlight design looks sharp and sporty, and aggressive which adds to its road presence. The heat extractor vents on the hood also adds to its nice sporty look. Another nice sporty design is its wide rear fenders, which makes it wider. Being the GT, there are quad-exhausts which look and sound good. Moving over into the interior, the quality and technology are both good. Its driver's display is fully digital (with different kinds of design too), and its infotainment screen is very easy to use. Its reverse camera is also very high quality. The paddle shifters for manual mode look and feel high quality which makes them nice and fun to use. When going around corners, the sporty bucket seats are very useful as these hold the occupants really well and comfortably. Although the seats feel tight at first, one could get used to it easily. Overall the interior feels both comfortable and sporty since this is a GT. It feels spacious, but not to the point where the car feels too big already - this is good since it's balanced.
Starting up the car in sport/track exhaust mode, one would be treated to a very musical V8 engine sound. It must be noted though, that there are other modes where the exhaust would be quieter. When driving, one would notice that the V8 engine makes more than enough power and torque for a nice fun drive. It also sounds very nice, which adds to the driving engagement. The 10-speed automatic responds well to driver's inputs in manual mode and shifts smoothly in automatic mode. Its gearing is also short which means one can easily play with the gears without reaching speeds that are too fast. Its steering has very good weight and feel on it which is expected from a sporty car like this. The accelerator and brake pedals respond well to driver inputs which gives the driver confidence when driving this car. Its chassis and suspension provide for a stable ride when driving quickly, but does not sacrifice ride comfort - this is still a comfortable GT. Overall this car sounds so good and has very good driving dynamics. Even when not driving fast and just casually accelerating, it is still quite fun because of its amazing engine sound.
