Matt , I also picked up Roadster '28 last August '21. It must have sat next to yours - because it wiggles and wobbles just like yours. All there - just no top. I had a'30 Coupe 24 years ago , drove it home 23 mi. ( $350. ) So , I'll be watching and rewatching you in your build to learn all I can in following along in building mine. ------ Thank you and Mike for the Hoodie , cap and decals. Will be watching you closely. Bought tools from Eastwood - 24 yrs. ago also

I want to say thank you for doing these videos. I binge watched all the Sweet Heart videos last week. I just drug home parts and pieces for a 29 Roadster today. Told my wife it's your fault.

Hey Matt: did you know the draw backs on the Model 'A' gas tanks that made them unpopular? I never knew this until I asked a question to my father about why the road went around the this large hill. I used to see it and wondered. Then he explained with the gas tank above the engine, on a steep hill, the vehicle would stall out because if wasn't getting gas. He said they used to have to back up over the hill to get over it. So they added the road around the hill. After they did away with that design, then they change the road back to going over the hill. I never had thought of that. I wondered if you had heard that or not? Richard S. Cooper

Watching free Model T group then will dig in on this. Good stuff. Do you guys do some of the music cues yourselves for the episodes? Also... would like if you do possibly an episode on some of the tools like the "Strettcher" or some of the other metal work tools to show what they do and perhaps in action with close on shots [set up the tripod or what-have-you]. That sort of thing would be great if you haven't already done it I'm sure many, myself included, would really dig that.

I'm curious to know why it was named the "sweetheart roadster." The name fits, but there must be a story behind it.

The gal I bought it from it was her husbands and they used to drive it around when they were just dating and then it was parked in the early 60’s until I bought it. She told me stories of him driving his “sweetheart” around in it before they got married. Hope to drive my sweetheart around in it when it’s done!
