Just completed this job on a friends car this morning, I wanted to point out, where you reference about using a screwdriver to separate from the wing. There are 2 clips on each side that you need to get your hand in to where you removed the 3 bolts from and press the tabs to allow them to separate from the wing, it looks like you have broke your clips forcing it away from the wing. Just thought it might be helpful for anyone else who's taking this job on.

On mine i could'nt pull those clips with fingers enough to release them so i got a mini adjustable spanner that fit in there and using one of the spanner tips was able to pull the tabs with it enough to release them, bear in mind though you want to release one and kind of pull the bumper a little so the tab does not re-lock and then you can pull the other for it to fully release i guess one of those stubby screwdrivers might work as well but its very tight for space in there.

For anyone wanting to do this, its pretty straightforward and not to difficult to do but when removing bumper, arch liners, wing trims etc use the right trim removal tools and don't force things to much as damage can be easily done and be prepared to replace quite a few of the plastic push rivets etc as quite a few will be unusable when removed but you can buy replacements easily from amazonia or pirate bay in small quantity's for cheap compared to ford's extortionate prices, just make sure you get the right size as there are different size holes they go in to and also different types of push rivet clips, i've had to buy some from ford i could'nt find but most are available cheaply, i found some of my plastic trim clips came of undamaged but more were damaged and had to replace them. Thanks to dave for posting this video, always helpfull for myself and others.

Great job dave, looks great. I'm currently doing mine. How did you seperate the original grille from the bumper because the tabs seem solid with hardly any give in them and i don't want to break or damage any, it looks like there are two parts to it as there are two types of tabs with one part disconecting from the rear and the other part from the front. I have removed most of the parts fron the back of the bumper to clean etc but just having trouble with that grille.

@@davidkuga324 I'm trying to remove the grill from the bumper, I've removed the large black bit behind the grill which is screwed on with 7mm screws, i'm left with the actual grill now which is all tabs, it looks like you disconnect in two pieces but like i say those tabs seem really tight with hardly any movement to release them, i don't want to put to much force in bending them cause i don't want to break or damage them, i was just wondering how you disconnected yours.

@@marcomeehan5117 they are tight I layed the bumper on a big towel so not to mark it And using a screwdriver I prized rack clip out one by one You could get a hairdryer to warm the plastic to make it more supple

@@davidkuga324 Its ok david i've done it, I've got loads of trim removal tools plastic and metal and not one of them strong enough to do those tabs, you can use a screwdriver but i find they can leave dents or guages in the tabs, i was looking around to see if i had anything i could use and i found the perfect thing, a solid stainless steel spoon with a slight curve on the handle, i cut the spoon of it and filed and sharpened the end and it works perfect, no damage to any tabs at all, does'nt bend at all when pulling the tabs. I'm just waiting on my raptor grill to come from china, i noticed you can get the orange and white lights for them but not the blue, can't find the blue anywhere for the kuga grill but they do blue for the F150 grills so i have ordered some of them in the hope they might fit otherwise i might have to modify them somehow.

@@marcomeehan5117 I would stick to the orange or white The blue are totally illegal and if you are made to remove the It's the grill off again I used the orange and they look ok Glad you sorted it My grill took around 7 weeks to come from China Thanks
