Take roof rails and trim off sealer splits under black trims and tailgate hinges they are prone to leak and under dash .

The bolt holes do not leak. The riv-nuts are blind, not open. Also the rear ones would drip the water onto the headlining, resulting in visible stains on the healings under the rail mounting points. the seam sealant under the roof rails cracks front and rear, allowing water in. The leak is on the seam between the panel that is the roof and the panel that is the rear quarter. This video shows where the leak is, but incorrectly identifies the actual cause. Take the rails off, and you will see the cracks front and rear. Scrape the sealant off, and it will have water under it. So, he right about where the leak is, but wrong about how.

Mine doing exact the same carpets are soaked only had it a week

I too have a mk2 2015 and just sealed the rails but I'm thinking it's the boot seal. What's the fix for that? Just replace it?

My guess would be the rear quarter glass?

I have a 2015 kuga and floor absolutely soaked. Think its the rear lamps or boot seal as dont the roof rails butnits still leaking somewhere

Did you have to remove the centre console to get the caperts out ?

I think it’s caused by heavy weight on roof rack
