You clearly know what you are doing with fitting this window regulator kit together. However for those of us that have never done this before it would really help if you went a bit slower and added commentary as to what we were looking for at each step and what you are doing. I had to stop and rewind the video lots of times to check I was doing it right. Fitting the motor at the end is difficult, it needs quite a bit of effort to stretch the cables and pull against the springs. Much harder than it looked when you did it. Finally, you have the window clips right at the end upside down, they should face up towards the motor, not downwards. I spent an hour in vain trying to fit the regulator in upside down because of this mistake in the video. Useful video and eventually I managed to assemble the kit and repair our Galaxy’s window. Thank you
Thanks for the video. Was a great help. It is a tricky task to get the centre cog back in the motor casing again!
Danke ☺
Thanks for this, it was very useful! Just one thing, I think you clip the metal bit on the wrong way up at the very end. You have the open end of the metal clip as if the motor goes at the bottom of the door, but it goes at the top. Perhaps you should put an annotation on the video? For some reason mine only goes half way up and then gets stuck and goes into reverse. Any ideas what that might be? Cheers!
thannk for this 😃😃
Watching all that makes me not wan't to attempt the fix, looks fiddly as hell :-(
походу гимор еще тот!у меня порвался трос-то что на видео это непонятка полная!
If only you allowed the viewer to see what you are doing! Your hands totally obscure the work most of the time!! You need to let us see what exactly you are doing - commentary would also help.
Don’t buy the repair kit. Buy the whole thing complete it comes assembled and just bolts straight in.
