Yes I saw they were needed to space the discs out. But I meant where did you get the spacers from.... ebay 1's or from specific company? Sorry for any confusion.

Nice video and looks really easy to fit, however am really shocked at the cable tie method of attached the brake hose to the strut, very much a bodge, and they are HEL brake lines too!!!

Do the 2 pins need to be tapped in the caliper or is it held by tension? Great channel with great content 👏

yes they do need tapped in I did that later on off camera

Awesome work 😎 I have a few questions. What size drill did you use? 14 or 15mm? Spacer between the hub and the brake disc 4 or 5mm?

I've seen people mention both the 3mm and 5mm spacers to push out the rotor and center it in the caliper. Not sure which one is best.

Do you have to use longer wheel studs?

Does the 5mm spacer have to be on before the disk or after it? Or does it make no difference alan?

Will these fit behind the standard mk2 st alloys

Thank you. Unfortunately they don't I do believe tho the mk2 rs brakes and and the Volvo XC90 will fit.i would do a bit of research on that tho

Anybody know the spacers used? The ones I got wouldn't fit in the rotor inner diameter

hpla friend, I have a focus mk2 1.8tdci, I want to install the front brake calipers from the focus mk2 st, do you know if they are compatible? can I install them?

Attach a 5mm spacer to remove the disc. Is it technically safe to operate?

Didnt realise that this was an option on the 225 Only ever saw the collins performance kit which used non-standard rotors In the end i chose to go the Freakyparts Megane brembos and mk2 RS rotors - bit smaller but no modifications to hubs required. Going on next few weeks

Did yous not have to use spigot rings so the wheel would sit central to the hub?

no you would only need then if you have aftermarket wheels.

Am not a 100% sure on that you may just need spacers

Please tell me the answer to my question. I have a Ford Escape II. It's based on Focus. I don't have enough regular brakes. There is a desire to install a reinforced Brembo kit for the RS. I have three questions: Is there any effect from this kind of work? No need to intervene to replace the main brake cylinder and vacuum booster? Can you tell me the size of the posterior tomosal disc of the RS? Thank you, I will be glad to answer.

So I can install this exact kit on my 2009 Volvo C30 T5?! If so, any idea if they have the calibers in Red by now? Or blue and silver/gray are they only options? Either way, great video! Thanks a lot boys!!
