È incredibile che il meccanico non riusciva a darmi indicazioni su come risolvere il problema... Poi ho cercato dei video e con il tuo ho capito il problema, addirittura io ho aperto e ingrassato il meccanismo, che è ritornato in funzione, comunque per non aver problemi sostituiro il pezzo, grazie!

Can the car be started with out plugging it all back together could I use a flat head to start the car

Are they coded?

I've got a mk6 fiesta with a similar problem would this also affect the stereo and the clocks

If your stereo and clocks rely on the power from the ignition then it could possibly be so. But at the same time it may not.. What happens when you turn the key in the ignition?

Guys how is that bit called that little metal goes in the plastic he holds in his hands please

I hope my fiesta is as easy as that.

How do you remove the volume stalk to get at the ignition switch please?

I never removed the stalk, it can be done while still in place

My fiesta is the barrel i think. The radio won't come on

Does that unit contain the receiver for the transducer ?

Do you mean the immobiliser/immobiliser chip? If so.. no its not contained in this part. Hope this helps 👍🏻

Does the battery need disconnecting to do this?

Nope, you can do if you like but I never disconnected mine when I did it.
