I've got a 2015 Focus with the 998cc Ecoboost with 140hp. I've driven many a fast car, but the Ford EcoBoost 3 cylinder is an amazing unit! Not incredibly fast, but it pulls like a train. It's a surprisingly good car, and it's a lot of fun in the bends.

Its pulls like a train for what it is but the fuel economy is crap for a 1.0! 37 around town and 43 on highway!

what i love alot in you is the place of cam where you put it so we could see tha road and the dash is so enjoyable

pretty nice and decent car in a while :O interested in buying one :O thanks for POV videos :)

i never really loved the focus, but this new face lifted focus looks really awesome.

This would be great with the Fiesta ST tune, which I'm sure the aftermarket will come out with eventually. Great video, I think you're the only person who has done a POV of the 1.5T 182HP Focus!

preisleistung stimmt hinten und vorne nicht. für den gleichen preis kriegst du aus japan eine mittelklasse limousine mit vollaustattung, nappaleder, headup display in der scheibe, holz, aluminium, 8 zoll touch display, sehr gute belüftete und beheizte sitze, automatik, allrad, ne wohlfühl atmosphäre, usw.... bessere qualität, längere garantie. und auch die 200ps. für den focus wie er im video zu sehen ist würd ich 20k€ zahlen als neuwagen! mehr ist das ding nicht wert. und für den veralteten focus wollen die 35k. hahaha alter...

This seems to be a press car , so they will update the spelling mistake on the offficial version probably.

@@AutoTopnl And yet Ford seem to mess them up all the time. Some of the ones in early test drives had wobbly center armrests, but I haven't noticed that in showroom cars at all, everything seemed well put together. I know what you mean, though, I'm a translator and I can tell you that this was a sloppy job on the translator's part. However, at least it's something that can be updated easily. Great video, btw. I love the way odd cylinder engines sound, and this one is no exception.

Glad you mentioned that the wobbly center armrests has gone. Are you aware of the wobbly center console? Going for a test drive soon I hope and this will be the first thing I test.

@@pummyy So far, so good, didn't have any problems. I have only 13k kms with it, but I am really happy with my decision looking back. I have the 1.5 150hp engine with automatic transmission and I think it's the best combination. Fuel consumption can be all over the place, from 5% if you drive constantly at around 70-80 km/h, to 7% at highway speeds, to 12-13% in busy city traffic. Happy I didn't go for ST line trim, as I wouldn't have liked for the ride to be any stiffer than this, and the car is still very stable on twisty roads, even at speed over 100km/h. Winter package with heater seats and wheel is a must have for me in the winter also.

😂😂 The subscribe button is really making me crazy. Although I did subscribe, it says I don’t. And every time I shake my phone, the button change its place. I can’t stand it.😂😂😂( Is it familiar wireless charging?? 😂😂😂). You really need to control your anger man, Half the video is about the wireless charger. I believe you could mention it once and get to other features and characteristics of the car. 😂😂 Anyway, thank you for review. wish you a great new year😊

Chassis balance, steering accuracy and feel, suspension set up and handling combination are as good as ferrari?

The charging problem is for sure from your iPhone x really small charging area, not the car. I had no problem with another phone, 1 iPhone and 1 Samsung.

I need to pay around 8k EUR more to get ST 2.3 ecoboost - just worried if the sport seats are comfortable for longer travel and the suspension is fine for daily car on 19" inch rims? I plan to buy Kombi version with performance pack but bit worried how it will be for longer travels with kids and wife. Hope the fuel consumption will be not ultra high as well. Below 10 in highways.

I'm sure the wireless charger can be improved over time. I don't really care about that feature, I just want this car, with this manual transmission, and this 1.5l 3-cylinder in the United States!

I have recently upgraded myself from Golf 4 diesel to the Ford Focus model with petrol 125 HP engine. With Golf 4 we were a great team for 17 years. So it is too early to say what the true value of this new car model is. It will become obvious after years of driving. However, I agree with the review, it feels good both, to see the car from outside and to seat and drive inside. After first week, my personal favorite feature is ... the heated steering wheel. So far I noticed one annoying thing. When activating turn indicator light, the lane departure warning system gets switched on accidentally too.This is because of touching a button located unfortunately on top of the switching bar. I would need some time to develop a personal skill to avoid it. The new Ford Focus is a silicon car, with millions of transistors. I can really feel it, I am not alone when inside. A friend of mine spontaneously said to me: you have got a car like a space ship :-) So what? A good job dear engineers from Cologne and Aachen - and please, do not let me never down on my journey!

everyone here complaining of aggressive driving 😂 .. its actually pretty tame by our standards.. anyways its always good to have a review where you actually go a bit faster to really experience the car .. since we cant do that while test driving a car before buying froma salon... i really dont like the interior and the console.. it doesnt feel premium at all, way too plasticky and dark..what was ford thinking?? the car is gorgeous on the ontsiede..but the inside feels cheap.. buyers are increasingly buying cars for how they look, every other hatchback i tried looks better on the insinde with chrome details, brushed steel/aluminum etc... a car like this desrver a better interior design!

Thats the ST Line X. Not the ST Line. ST Line does not have those Alloys. In the UK anyways.

At the moment of the test the ST-Line X didn't exist in the Netherlands. The 18"rims where an option as with my 2020 ST Line 1.5 182 hp

You cannot start the car using the app with the manual transmission. You need the auto for that. I'll have to wait and see if the wireless charging thing will become annoying. I'm guessing not, as I don't plan to drive like a car journalist every day :)

Great video.Thank you very much.I am definitely going to buy the 182hp ST line model. By the way, to turn the car on from the phone app, I think that's just possible if the car has got authomatic gearbox.

Oh my god! Use a Lightning cable to charge and u also can use apple Car Play! That are no Problems from a typical Car driver ;-)

Forgotten about a C. Well, if that is what bothers someone buying a car, than the person concerned is crazy.

The 508 Peugeot looks a lot more than he is/can/work/serve, and Ford is the opposite of it - most from Interieur = looks very obsolet and unspectulary......But everything works realy fine! Drives excellent, an Artist on road, makes fun to drive through corners ☝️👍 🏁💘☮🍀😘🎯

mine does 100 km/h highway 4.8l/100, 140 km/h highway 6.6l/100, heavy traffic 10-12.5l/100km

Having charging cables around your car is annoying and pretty dangerous. So having a wireless charging pad is way better. And if a manufacturer is going to go to the effort of putting one in, they should at least design it properly. He wasn't being immature, he was making a mockery of the designers. You're the immature one who's trying insult someone over the internet.

It is exclusive on Petrol Engine since Diesel Engines are already too economic.
