I really like this video you cant get wrong with the right tools

We have a 2011 model. As a blind person I know through engine and exhaust sound that these cars are basically a slight redesign of the 2002-2008 Fiesta because the stock exhaust sounds very throaty and sporty, as if it has been suped up slightly. I don't know if you have noticed this as well. I've always believed that stock exhaust systems should give of a quiet but deep hum. That's why, in terms of modern cars, I gravitate more towards the Vw Golf 4/5/6 1.6 petrol and 2002-2009 Polo 1.6 Petrol. Wit Ford, I would take a Figo-shape Fiesta (2002-2008) over a Figo because of the chances of getting hold of a 1600 model and I think the stock exhaust from a 1600 Figo-shape Fiesta would sound much better than a 1400, I would love to hear a comparison of both at some point.

Thanks for the video on servicing Ford Figo, I really appreciate it. I think for Ford ikon 1.4l 2007 Ambiente should be the same procedure. Since it is a durec engine. And the car parts are mostly similar.

Yes, you are correct, Ace the Duratec motors are all the same.

❤I really like the video and explaining the basic things,👍👍👍 sometimes i wonder where to find the oil filter, because this Ford Figo car is quiet low in ground clearance, now i fully understand and finally spot it😊 Five star already.....😁

Did the basic service, followed all the steps and car is running well! Had a problem with getting the spark plugs loosened, send previous service guys turned it too tight, but eventually got all four out after I went and bought a different wrench and socket. Just now need to find a place to dispose my oil at... Thanks for this very detailed video!!!

I do not fully understand the question, I think you mean the gear lever gets stiff when the car drives a certain distance, you must check the gear lever cables, it may be worn or frayed, also check the gearbox mountings it may be worn out, Mogomotsi.

Hi, Nico, the fuel filter is situated underneath the car passenger side towards the back, an oversight on my part when shooting the video.
