As others have said, there was a third thumb-screw accessed from inside the boot to get the cluster off for me. UK spec fiesta. Undo a single screw in the plastic cladding, pull back the carpet to see the back of the light housing, reach in to access thumb screw. Once undone, cluster came out a treat. Maybe it's different on the continent?

Correct they’re also torx screws on the UK ones

This was helpful 👍🏿 I found out on my 2017 model there is a screw behind the light also so don't just pull it off.

I know that people are saying this isn't right because there is a third screw, or other screws in the trunk, etc., I have to say I own a Ford Fiesta 2014 SE here in the US and it was exactly as they said. I just did the replacement, so I can confirm. Peace.

I'm watching these videos and seeing people only remove one bulb. My fiesta mk7 has two identical bulbs in each casing and halfords say they are p21 5w , the brake light on the driver side doesn't work. From the outside both bulbs look identical too me, and im reading that mk7 bulbs serve as tail lights and brake lights, unless mines uses an older version. Slightly baffled. Do i need to replace both, and do they have the same function or is one for the brake and the other for the tail light please?

My Ford Fiesta 2014 had a nut that required that we needed to strip the inside to loosen it. It doesn't clip out as in this video My fingers hurt

Use this method only in the states in Europe there 2 more steps very important or you will break the whole assembly . One Phillips screw accessible from the booth to pull carpet and a plastic hand tighten butterfly type at the back of the lights

Counterclockwise is the opposite direction of the hands movement on a clock.

Don’t forget the plug screw underneath. The fiesta in the uk is different spec

Be careful, most have a 3rd screw accessed from inside the boot/trunk. You could break your light if you think there are only 2 fixing points.

Yes it is true but there is still a long plastic screw inside, so be careful not to break anything !!

Just happened to me, we are broken brake light cluster brothers from until forever.

this isnt right, almost broke my rear light after following this, no mention of the screw behind fabric, dont trust this
