Hi, my fiesta shows full all the time. It just shows empty when the ignition off. What should I do :(

Hi. My Fiesta 2009, Petrol is exhibiting some wired problem. For example, if I run my car for only a few KMs (let's say 10 kms), the DTE disproportionately goes down by 70 kms. This phenomenon is occurring across all fuel levels (full, 3/4th, 1/2, 1/4th fuel level). Can it be a problem with the fuel gauge sensor, or tank or some electrical wiring problem? Please help.
