Ford F-250 Outer Tie Rod Replacement and Laser Alignment Check

I replace the passenger side outer tie rod end on a 2012 Ford F-250 4x4 and then check the toe angle with a laser level.
0:00 I replaced the passenger side outer tie rod end.
6:21 I checked the alignment with a laser level.
8:22 I measured the steering angle and a brief discussion about Ackerman steering geometry.
When I uploaded the original version of this video, it was my 24th video, and I had 35 subscribers. It only misled 23 viewers by the time I replaced it with this corrected version. Somehow in the original video, I mixed up positive and negative angles of the toe. This correction makes sure to note that positive is toe-in and negative is toe-out.

Good video, however the margin of error when attempting that sort of at-home alignment is greater than the spec range. It's enough to get you down the road (but so is just counting turns) on your way to get a professional alignment.

Tie rod castle nut torque for the f250 is 85 ft-lb, not 67.

I usually use quality aftermarket parts, and not the cheapest unless it's the only option.
