Mine aftermarket fob did not have white plastic between and remote don't send out signals. Maybe bad key or battery. I will get new batteries and put a piece of paper between the 2 batteries and see.

He had it right at first, but after fell apart, he did put bottom battery in upside down.
This is like an instruction manual on how to break a key fob. 🤦♂️
How to change your battery and destroy the fob at the same time.. C'mon Man!!
