  I replaced the battery in my 2005 CRV key fob a few years ago. The other key fob just died, so I took it apart and ordered a battery from Amazon for $3.80. I'm confident that it will work.

  It worked thank you! Btw just a tip to anyone reading this: Make sure you get a battery that says “2016” on it (I got Duracell brand but I’m sure any 2016 will work) my dumb butt made the mistake of getting a battery that was the same size but had a different number on the front and it didn’t work and I had to return it and start over again.so make sure you have the correct battery, just bc it’s the same size doesn’t mean it’s the same thing lol.
