Wow, absolutely perfect instructions. Ford wanted $700 to replace it ($450 for camera and $250 labor. With your camera suggestion and on point instructions, I did it for $167 and 45 minutes. Big thanks

Great video. This helped me do the repair. It only cost me $25.00 for the part on Ebay and 45 minutes of my Saturday. It couldn't have been much easier. I did have to unplug the auto close button for an option your car didn't have, but otherwise video was spot on. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the video. I followed your directions and it now works great. Got my camera on Amazon for about $55. Took me less than an hour and I have never done anything like that before

Does the 2013 ford sel have the harness. I have one and want to put in a camera. Is there any steps to it or is the harness there

What's the camera part number, I can't read it.

What issue does this fix. My camera glitches out, inverts, stays on reverse cam after I shift to drive then I get message to have technician look at it. Feel like it started doing this after I did radio SW update. 2014 Escape Titanium.

Typically those are symptoms of a bad camera

Is this process the same on a 2014/2018 FORD EDGE???? CAN YOU USE THE MOTORCRAFT (I THINK) XG12 DI ELECTRIC GREASE???

I believe it is a very similar process. Once the lift gate trim panel is taken off any variations should be obvious

Awesome video! My error message for my 2017 Ford Escape says "camera unavailable" so I'm guessing this fix would work.

Ours does the same thing. Ford told us it just needed a new camera. They wanted $950 to do it, hence why I am watching this video now lol. I’ll let you know if it actually fixes it.

So far, so good on the new camera I installed! I bought the Dorman brand off Amazon. It was around $100-$150 Fixed the intermittent issues we were having.
