The plastic clip that holds the linkage to the transmission has adjustment You can try and adjust there. Also there is a safety switch which won’t allow the truck to turn over unless it’s in park or neutral. Also there is a safety that the break must be applied to remove it from park. It may be out of adjustment as well. I hope that helps.

The wiring diagram attached in the description should help you. You will need to sort out what goes where with your dodge wiring by the colour of wires and use the pin location The pcm from the dodge must be intact as well as the ecm Its a lot of work but start from the ecm and work backwards. The best money that I spent was sending my wiring to diesel conversions and the made me a plug and play wiring harness.

I think some of these comapnies want you to buy parts that you don't really need. I found an 08 F-350 needing an engine for sale but the guy wants more than I want to go. I'd like to drop in common rail in it. A 12 valve would be easier to swap but it would be a step back in terms of performance.

This truck is a 08 f-350 XL supercab 6.4 with a ZF6. He wants $5500 USD. I don't think it is worth that. A 6.4 from a junkyard is $10k. It would cost more to put a 6.4 in it than what it is worth, if you had to pay for labor. I may contact him this week and see what he says. I was thinking about making mounts, they look pretty simple. They are $300 now. Buying mounts would really speed up the process though. Mounts are a hassle to make. Thanks for the offer. Yes the plate is the same as mine. You need to take the cam sensor from your old ford motor . Best purchases are a wiring harness. It takes so much time to make one from scratch. The adaptor plate and flywheel is a must. The rest you can probably source easily. Motor mounts are expensive for what you get and they can be easily made. If I were to do it again I would swap out the injection pump for a old school manual pump and change injectors and lines. The Ford 5r10 is a great transmission you will need to buy programming for it Diesel conversion has a solid tune for this. Hope this helps
