One of the guys I worked with had a Capri he turned into a dragster at his shop. It was the craziest thing. He'd managed to squeeze a 429 in that little car. The real treat is seeing his pedal work. I learned to drive with both feet a long time ago. I thought it was much easier than heel toe. It actually makes it so you can use the brakes in a turn while keeping your foot on the gas. Man I miss racing.

That Capri must be a crazy thing to see and hear; your friend did a great job. As far as that way of braking is concerned, I've never learned how to do it; it's not easy, it takes training and sensitivity but to race a car it's certainly essential to know how to do it well 👍

@@Italiansupercarvideo I've driven that way all my life. I think I learned it from listening to Michael Schumacher or actually one of the old F1 drivers. I really can't drive any other way.

Ciao Yuri, eh si, se devo pensare ad un'auto Turismo degli anni 70, la Capri e la BMW 3.0 CSL sono in cima alla lista. Non sapevo di questa cosa della Solido, però in quegli anni, per un bambino, era un gran bel modellino 😉👍

Cool car. Ford only sold those in the USA for 2 years. My cousin had one but it rusted away (Chicago, all cars do that there). It was one of his favorites. I can't remember the last time I seen one in person.

@@enricocelani8292 Eh, perchè...potrei darti una risposta lapidaria ma penso sia meglio che me ne stia zitto su questo aspetto...hahaha. in realtà il sei in linea suona diverso, guarda questo video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kaWn0NyocdncgdI.html ho usato la stessa videocamera e lo stesso microfono. Il suono della Capri è più "rauco" mentro quello della bmw sembra più un sibilo lineare. Da fuori poi dipende sempre da collettori, scarico, filtri, ecc.

@@Italiansupercarvideo beh sì effettivamente rispetto a quella che hai filmato la BMW è più sibilante, ma soprattutto si sente di più la trasmissione. Senti però nel mio video le prime due Capri che passano insieme alla BMW al centro. La quarta invece è quella che hai filmato tu, completamente differente. kzread.infouIoYRclMgzo?feature=share
