Progress continues on my 1968 C6 rebuild. I’m using new Raybestos frictions and steels and all new bushings and seals…..Would you use Type F or Dexron in this C6?

Hi JB, I'd use Dex unless you're taking it racing, then consider Type F.

I don't see why not, unless there's a space limitation for some reason but Ive never done it so can't say for sure.

@@nickstransmissions I am going to swap a long tailshaft for the short in the truck. I will let you know how it goes.

Sounds good, as long as both are of the drop-out design (i.e. neither output shaft has a snap ring securing it in place to the rear ring gear). I wasn't aware there was a longer version of those Fixed Yoke 'drop-out' shaft assemblies...
