Ford Bronco RAPTOR Chassis

Starting with the Bronco frame foundation, the Ford Performance team knew it needed a Raptor-specific version for increased suspension travel and track width for handling stability during high-speed desert runs. At the Raptor core is a fully boxed, high-strength steel frame with new shock towers that increase wheel travel and off-road durability. Heavy-duty bash and skid plates provide continuous driveline coverage from the front bumper to the back of the engine, transmission and transfer case. In the upper body, B-pillar cross bar and C-pillar reinforcement help deliver a greater than 50% total body-in-prime torsional rigidity increase over a standard Bronco four-door model.

Manufacturers reallty need to start implementing hydraulic bump stops on their builds. It takes almost all of the shock out of big whoops and jumps

When are we going to see a Ford Raptor Explorer or Mustang?...
That Panhard rod is rather slender. A hard lateral knock to the right rear wheel would surely cause it to distort?

It does look pretty small. However, the control arms and bushings look beefy so they probably didn’t need a larger pan hard bar.

Well, you see, it's made with nothing but the best from Ford, the company know for its excellence in making vehicles that make you feel like an extreme off roading man, provided you pay them enough.

Still IFS and has the tiny tie rods that have been bending for anyone actually offroading.
$80,000 ! ! ! . . . . nopes, not worth it. Especially not with that hideous DI V6 in it. Ford needs to make a new Small Block V8. Not an OHC. A smaller 7.3L 'Godzilla'. just my 2¢
