That was a blast from the past ! my father owned a 3000 when we stayed on the farm ( 37 years ago ) cant believe that one is in such good condition ! Keep up the good work guys love the content !

Ik heb hier in Johannesburg een Ford 4000 waar ik niks dan problemen mee heb. Vooral met de driepunt lift. Spijtig dat jullie aan de andere kant van de wereld zijn.

Its common to change the oil, engine oil, gearbox oil, transmission oil and power steering liquid and change all the filters.

the oil filter is right in the bottom of box coverd in oil it can only be replace by splitting the tractor ours was in there for 30 years cause no one knew it was there nd it all worked till we had the tractor re stored when they found it the new filter weighed 750g the old one was 2kg it is the most stupid place to put it ever

What size tires are on the back ?

Do you know that there is a cold start knob? Just pull the lever to max RPM before starting, go to the injection pump and push the gas lever on the pump to the front and push the button on the turning axle of the gaslever in. (If you know the place you can do it, while standing on the tractor) By the way, do you know some cheap mondeos to sell. A friend of me is driving Bangerstox and I am helping him to build the cars. He wants to try some bangers and searches for a Mondeo MK1. We could do a a little video of you both helping to build a bangers car. I am living in the north of Luxemburg.

It’s an inductive heater. Very useful but quite expensive

My cousin if it was built at Ford Basildon prob had a hand in building that. He did work at Ford Dagenham but he was part of the "build your own new Ford in your back garden free" thingy and when Ford broke up the "network" of naughty workers several of them were sent to Ford Basildon to build tractors and for many years after managers would just happen to "drop by" for a cup of tea hoping to have a glimpse out back to make sure no one was building Ford tractors in their back garden either. These workers didn't actually get the sack because Ford never expecting their workers to do such a thing didn't have a policy dealing with pilferage and so as their union argued, the workers hadn't done anything technically or legally wrong and they all kept their brand new Escorts, Cortina's etc.

injectors nozzles need a clean or replacing and injector pressure needs setting could also have weak injector springs. bad fuel atomisation and spray pattern. simple job should make the tractor start better and faster.
